Invest in an ohm reader.

I'd say waste of money. Wrap 5 around standard tooth pick (should be 2.00mm in diameter but irrelevant). If happy with taste and vapor then all fine. If not, want more or less then add a wrap or remove a wrap.

I do 5 wraps of 32G Kenthal around toothpick. Dont know how many ohms it produces but I am happy with that. End of story.

Whoa! I will respectfully tell you that is downright awful advice. We must ALWAYS know the readings of our coils, we must check for shorts, loose connections, check the charge on our batteries, etc. A digital multimeter is an inexpensive, yet priceless piece of equipment to ensure safety and safe operating range of our builds and anything used to run it. Running electricity through resistance wire and putting it right up to our faces is SERIOUS business.

Especially if the OP (or anyone) is using mech mods (OP did not specify), we need to know EXACTLY what resistance we are at, we need to monitor our batteries for output, and making sure our batteries are correct ones to handle the job.
