Rewire passthrough??

I think I've had it with my 510 PV. I have a 510 in-line battery passthrough and it just doesn't perform the way it used to, I was going to replace the battery but I've been having this strong urge to try higher voltage of vaping. Until I can save up to get my Silverbullet I want to try to get that higher level of joyness. So my question is this: Can I just cut out my in-line battery and just reconnect the wires so I will be getting a direct 5 volts to my Atty? Has anyone ever tried this? I purchased my PV from cignot. Any feedback would help.

Short answer is I'd guess you can do just that. But they do make 'high voltage' 510 passthrus and can be found for about $20. You might want to keep the battery based PT you have and just buy one of those. I find my 5V passthru can rob all the taste from certain juices where they taste great at 3.7V so its handy to have the option to decide which voltage to use.
