Hello fellow vapers,
So I just got a kayfun 3.1 & man does this thing ROCK! My very first build using (standard) 2mm silica & a 5 wrap of 30 gauge kanthal @ 1.4 ohm is vaping great. I prefer sub-ohm builds, 3-5 wraps of 28 gauge kanthal @ around .6 ohm is my sweet spot so for it to be vaping this well at 1.4 ohm I can only imagine how much better its going to get when I drop the ohms. Since the resistance is 1.4 ohm's I'm using it on my VAMO V2 @ 10 watts, however I'm going to set it up with a figure of 8 build on my Nemesis with some 2mm silica infused ekowool & a 5 wrap of 28 gauge kanthal around .6 ohm, Ive heard that setup is a FANTASTIC VAPE! OK, sorry for the rambling, what I really want to know is what ribbon wire I should get? Ive heard ribbon wire performs much better than round wire, however there so many kinds & sizes of ribbon wire I don't know what to get, .4mm, .6mm, .8mm, bakero, Linguine, Fettuccine, its just overwhelming
. Can someone please tell me what the best ribbon wire for use in the Kayfun is??? I have cotton yarn, cotton balls & 2mm silica infused ekowool for wick. Any guidance would be MUCH appreciated, thanks.
