I didn't want to hog someone else's thread with talk of the Spyder.
But here are a couple pics of the Spyder and our REO family.

Thanks, Stat.

Show us your shirt pocket then! ;)

We don't have any threads here about rides. Thought it would be cool.

Well.. today my shirt doesn't have a pocket so I have to make due the best I can...

Here's my buggy, sporting my tREO ;)

I save on gas so I can buy more REOs, lol

When I was car shopping the dealer showed me the REO compartment.. I had no idea what the heck he was talking about.. now I get it ;)

I absolutely love those SV's. If I could afford to get back into two wheeling it a nice SV650 would be high up on the list. I sold two wheelers at a 6-brand dealership in FL for a couple years and got to drive a LOT of different bikes. The SV's were always such a blast to drive, love that v-twin.

Wow , I was looking at that same exact bike. I was afraid to take it for a test drive because I'm pretty sure I wouldve pulled the trigger. Congrats!

Most fun I ever had on two wheels was/is on an SV. Wonderful motor and a great frame. It was a great buy as they are considered "entry level" so they sold for a very low price. The handling is great. Many people reworked the suspension but it was fine for me. Its also fast enough for me and the power delivery is smooth from low to high rpms. Around 5500 it starts kicking in pretty well but manageble for my riding style.I didn't care for the new style that made the frame and body parts more angular.

Totally agree. The original is much better looking, imo. Just a blast of a ride. Plenty of torque all the way through the band. I drove a few other sport v-twins but none felt as balanced as the SV. Plenty of power, very manageable weight balance and the throaty rumble that v-twin puts out the tail end is very gratifying ;)

Thanks. :) If you're coming off two wheels, there's a bit of a learning curve. Took me about 500 miles to really get in the groove. But now I'd never go back to two.
