ridiculous cutoff

i don't like using regs.
Okay, so I have begun to use a reg when out because of the expensive mistakes I'm making with my favourites.

The cutoff on the 150 works because after swapping batteries at 75% I remove both at 50% to avoid a low cutoff. That's still 3.6 on the d4 after so I don't know what's going on there.

Then I pulled out the 75 and used it today with an mtl build it went last night and all of today.
The vape seemed just as strong at 12 watts but I thought 'this is going on forever'
I pulled out the battery and read the charge. It's showing 3.45 and there was still more use in the battery it seemed.

That's too low. I like to remove my batts at 3.6 (lowest). Does anyone know the cutoff for the 75? Is the mod broke? Will the battery survive this time?

Cutoff for what mod? Sorry to sound silly, but there are several 75W mods on the market. Same question about the 150.

Batteries can be drained down to about 2.5v before they take damage. I've never heard of a (functioning) regulated mod that would run the batteries down that low.

The ProVari Radius is somewhere around 3-3.2 . I'm sure your battery will be fine. Had you been running at higher wattage, I'd bet it would've cut off sooner.

Most of the regulated single 18650 mods I've had would cut off when the battery reached 3.3V.

But if I was using a mech I found the vape would start to suck around 3.6V so I would change the battery then. Though on occasion I did get down to 3.4V.

I was led to believe that as long as I didn't go below 3V, it was fine. (real figure being 2.8V but I like a small safety margin )

@Zutankhamun - I know you've used mechs extensively. Is this why you don't like to go below 3.6V?

Yeah. I mean I only mtl vape (mostly). Even that gets real weak around 3.6, but 3.7 is usual for me. I'm on the lookout for a decent single cell reg atm. I know, I know...
Pico, Pico, Pico. Is that it's name? I just don't really like the look of it too much.
I wish they still made an rdna 40. It's enough for me and that mod looks so good.

Ok, maybe it has a cutoff of around 3 then.

Is the Pico regulated? Lol, I've no idea.

I'm using the R Steam mini. It goes up to 80W but I'm using it at 16-18W. I'm not saying its the nads or anything and I certainly won't say it gorgeous but it does/has what I want (removable battery, decent sized screen and at least 40W) so I'm happy.

My regulated Smok G-Priv and Alien and my Smoant Battlestar drain very low. I haven't drained either until fully dead, but it would definately be lower than 3.0.

My regulated mods are all dual battery mods, so I have 4 pairs of batteries just for those. They never touch my mechs or get unmarried.

I say that as you are mainly a mech guy like I am....

My single battery mechs have different batteries and I almost never run them below 3.6..... 3.4 the very odd time, but I don't like my mech batteries to drain anywhere near 3.0. Just me, but I can sense the voltage drop at about 3.6 and have no issues with swapping batteries at that point.

I don't even have that many but man, I just prefer them.
It shouldn't be about looks but they do look so good.

And yeah, you can feel it at 6. I went to 3.4 once as well when I used silver plated contacts!
Gotta confuse the brain and all that. Easily done.

I use all my regulateds until they cut completely off. Never had one go below 3.2

When I was vaping closer to 35w I'd get low battery at 3.6. Now that I'm more in the 15w range it's below 3.6. I swap for a new battery when the indicator gets on the lower end but have only gone down to where it read 3.5 when I put it on the charger.

That's not low at all buddy. You could go much lower in voltage without causing any damage to your battery.
