The cartridge is built in food-grade PCTG and is perfectly transparent, it really contains a lot of (8ml) liquid, unfortunately the Tip is integral with the structure and is not replaceable.
The bottom of the cartridge has three magnets that mirror those in the compartment / pod.
The rubber cap, once lifted, leaves free a refill slot of optimal dimensions.
The coils are inserted into the cartridge with the press and pull method. We can choose to install three types of coils or the regenerable RBA (optional).
Vaping with the Coils included in the package:
- The 0.3Ω Single Mesh coil has a range of use between 50 and 70W, already at the minimum recommended wattage the performance is impressive and the delivery is very reactive, by pressing the magic button the tip shoots some frightening clouds!
The heat transmitted by the steam at 50W is low, increasing the power to 60W (MAX) the heat increases but it is never annoying, my red fruit aroma reaches its maximum and the clouds produced are embarrassing, my cat got scared! I have to open the window!
- The 0.2Ω Dual Mesh coil has a range of use between 60 and 75W, this gigantic Coil has a lot of cotton, of course it took a little longer to prime the liquid; I recommend to wet it well and wait at least 10-15 minutes before starting to vape.
The reactivity characteristics also belong to this Coil, it starts well already at 60W, moving to 70W the steam is hot and the fog rises rapidly, invading the whole room.
If the previous coil was worth a grade 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 ... this is worth 10!
A pleasant surprise when using the prefabricated heads was to notice a practically absent condensation production, this is a typical problem of pod systems, but not of the Manto Max. Brava Rincoe! You have really made some very good Coils!
The 510 adapter present in the box, allows you to use practically any RTA / RDA tank, the 510 thread is placed in a slightly raised area this area has a perfect design for 25mm atomizers, however you can install atomizers up to 30mm in diameter without any protrusion compared to the mod.
The 510 adapter is also equipped with strong magnets and is sufficiently fixed and solid once installed on the Mod, the pin of this 510 adapter is floating.
Manto Max RDTA module (available separately):
In the box of this RDTA module you will find some spare deck screws and some o'ring, the deck and the tank are always 8ml (like the pod).
To transport the liquid to the coil, Rincoe did not consider it appropriate to use the Ropes, so it will be the cotton that feeds the coils directly.
This RDTA essentially consists of four pieces:
The Tip in derlin is gigantic, rather low and of type 810, without o-rings.
The removable Top-cap adopts two o'ring, one for the tip and one for sealing, by rotating it, on the outer sleeve two opposing AFC slots of 6x3mm are discovered, the air through these slots can be directed parallel to the coils at any angle.
Also on the outer sleeve there are two other AFC slots at the bottom that feed two small opposing holes (4 channels in total) of 0.8mm, the air is then channeled from the base of the deck directly under the coils, this is a really system interesting combined with the classic AFC placed at the top.
The transparent cartridge follows the design of the original cartridge and has the same liquid capacity (8ml). The bottom of the cartridge is sealed, so there are no leaks of any kind.
The Deck has two really giant slots for positioning the cotton, which is why I chose to make two 3mm diameter coils, so I made two 24ga Ka1 coils, the final resistance turned out to be 0.3Ω.
RDTA Vape Test:
This RDTA certainly offers truly exceptional air regulation thanks to the double AFC system. Using only the higher AFCs, the performance is the classic one of a normal RDA with the air flow directed laterally on the coils, while using only the lower channels the puff takes on a completely different appearance, the shot is rather closed, dark and silent, with a big blow in the throat, the direct air flow under the coils transmits a very good and rather warm aroma. Of course, using both configurations the Puff becomes very open and profitable for the DL puff, also suitable for quite powerful coils.
The build I used at 40W combines very well with the exclusive use of the lower AFC, I enjoy vaping like this, the Puff is hot, the hit strong, sometimes I open the upper afc slightly to relax my throat and to make some nice clouds!
The build is really simple to perform, the cotton whiskers lowered into the slots perfectly transport the liquid to the coils until the last drop ... I really have to congratulate Rincoe for this brilliant RDTA module! I highly recommend you buy this option, you will be satisfied.
Mod Operation:
The Manto Max is powered by two external 18650 batteries, it provides an adjustable power from 1 to 228W. Its performance is stable, the MECHMAN Chip has a good fire rate of just 0.002 seconds. The 0.96 inch color screen shows useful information, battery level, ohms, volts, watts, last puff duration and available colors.
- It takes 5 clicks on the Fire button to turn the mod on / off
- Three clicks to enter the menu, we can choose the modes: VW, NI, TI, SS.
- By installing a new atomizer (TC mode) the writing old / new coil appears on the screen, then select with the up / down keys and confirm with the Fire key
- By pressing the Up / Fire keys at the same time, we can select one of the six background colors with the Up / down keys, confirm with the Fire key.
- To lock the screen, press the up / down keys simultaneously.
Multiple protections:
Overheat, battery reverse, overcharge, short circuit, 10s cut-off, low voltage protection.
Final remarks:
The kit really offers many Vaping options, quickly switching from one module to another, namely: from our favorite atomizer, to a pod system equipped with huge durable heads and with excellent aromatic yield (3 + RBA) to a really well RDTA system realized. The magnets are really strong, securely holding the pod or whatever module we are using.
