Sorry if there's a thread about this, but I keep getting errors when I try to use the search function right now.

So recently, I noticed that my ecig delivered less and less vapor. I thought that the problem was because my atomizer was clogged up so I decided to rinse it in warm~hot water, dried it and tried it again and I guess that I was right about my atomizer being clogged up, because it worked.

I also noticed that the vapor delivered was hot, not the usual cold vapor. In fact, it tasted better and my cappuccino liquid tasted more like it should be than ever.

But will it do any damage to it? I mean, it has no electronic parts in it and I dried it before I tried it.

Water is ok. Most use a pure grain alcohol for soaks. Or a combination.

I use hot water to rinse then blow out the atty. Then once a week I soak all my atty's in Vodka 100proof. You like a thick, dark e-liquid so you might want to consider the same thing. Darker liquids and sweet liquids "gunk" up atty's quicker than their clearer cousins.

Figureing out a regime that works best for YOU is a good way to go!!!
