I remember seeing "Easy Rider" in a small Midwest theater in the 60s. All us "hippies" were in the balcony and all the "others" were ground floor. The end
threw us all into a shock upstairs. Wasn't expecting that!
As we came down the stairs we were all "damn, man that sucks" . A lot of sad and upset folks. The ground floor folks were coming out at the same time doing little smiles and "damn right" comments.
Sure sucked being a long hair in some places in the 60s.
