Dagnabbit!! On my way to work on Sunday, which I wasn't supposed to be at in the first place (but due to some technical problems that needed my 101 expertise, I had to rush in to save the day ), I was fairly alone on the train and vaped away. ...then left it, yes, IT, on the seat! My 2-3 month old black wrinkle/silver vein - OH NOS!!!! I stepped off the train and reached in my pocket for another vape, looked up just in time to see the doors close, hear the conductor say "next stop, your misery - HAHA SUCKA!" and watch the train roll away. I ALMOST cried, hahaha! Also lost, of course, was the battery, a topped off bottle of juice, reomizer 1.0 with killer coil/wick, and my awesome bullet drip tip. SUUUUUUUUUCKS!!!! I was waiting to hear on the news that night that a strange device was left on the train... I really wonder what whoever found it thought!

So, standing there... (ABOUT) to cry (lolz), I thought to myself for about .003798 seconds and decided I had to order another one... like... right away. I walked into work and no less than 5 minutes later I ordered up this guy, a hammer tone silver black wrinkle Reo Grand - SEEEEXXXYYY!!! And again, of course, along with the new Reomizer 2.0 - can't wait to try that sucker out!

The reason I write this up, besides simply sharing my devastation and new-found excitement, is to give props to Rob! It was a short shift at work, only had 1 show to do that night. I checked my e-mails by the end of it and saw that my order was already confirmed, and by the time I left the bar just a couple hours later, the thing was ready to be shipped! Mind you, at this time it was about 3-4:00 in the morning in Maine. Holy hell Rob, you are awesome, and thank you for such a quick turn-around... I almost feel like I owe you a common-courtesy reach-around, hahaha!

The new setup should arrive tomorrow afternoon, less than 60 hours from the time I ordered it. Being without a vape really sucks, but it's great to know you can count on Rob over in Reoland to deliver (ha... I'm letting this unintentional pun ride!).

I never did take photos of my last one , so I'll be sure to post this one up soon! Gonna wait until I get it in hand to see what kind of new drip-tip(s) it deserves!

I'm sorry :( and congrats :). Nice save bro. That's why you need to order another now, so your backup is at home when ya need it, not 60 hours away in the modshack.

Yep, another lesson learned the hard way. I was thinking of getting a VV soon, and almost got one instead of a new Grand, but I figured I always want a Grand on hand. Luckily there were a few color combos I liked on the page on Sunday. Spending that kind of money, I don't really want to settle for something I'm not crazy about.

I could have had a Vmod for a backup... When my Vmod melted, I inquired about returning it, but just bought a Reo instead and said to hell with the Vmod, the Reo will be a tank! ... and it was, and I have plenty spare parts to fix it.... didn't think of this scenario though, D'OH!!

It has been said before, put your addy and phone number inside your REO!

Some call it a medical device and offer a reward too!

I feel for ya! Hope you contacted the rail line and asked if they had it turned in.

Congratz on the new Grand!

You know what, I read that plenty of times and always meant to... isn't that how the story goes? Funny thing is, I'm pretty adamant about photographing my address/contact info and myself on the first frame of every memory card that goes into my camera - you'd think I'd be all over that.

I didn't think to call the rail line, I figured it'd just be gone forever. I guess it doesn't hurt to call - even with a new one on order, it'd still be like getting a free back-up!

Why didn't you throw yourself on the tracks and wedge yourself between the wheels to stop the train? You flatlanders gotta be told everything.

Jack

Haha, I'll blame the local medicine for messing with my brain! If I wasn't in a rush to start the show, I would have at least tried to catch the next train to track it down (oh man, these puns are getting fun!).

You're not alone  I've recommended folks put labels or etchings inside their mods in case they are left behind somewhere...and yet, I've never done it myself. You'd think I'd take my own advice....and Karen's and Bill's for that matter. As it is, my reos can only be found in a very few places; 1) my hand, 2) my pocket, 3) my purse and 4) my desk. That's it. I don't even leave it in my car....I'd be so silly sideways ...... if someone broke into my car and stole it. (I'll never forget the day that one dude has his Chuck stolen from his car a couple years ago.)

If I was a chick I'd keep my REO in my bra. Then again, I'd probably be the butchest chick ya ever didn't meet.
