I had hoped to be able to use it today but it appears I'll have to wait until morning... : (

The instructions say to charge 8 hrs, vape for 20 minutes, then charge again for 1 hour and it's ready to use.

1. Will it hurt if the initial charge is longer than 8 hours?
2. We have very few outlets in our home, can I plug the charger into a surge protector outlet strip?
3. About how long do attys last and how many should I keep on hand?
4. Was everyone as anxious as I am to get started?

I guess that'll do me for now. I hope my questions aren't too 'dumb'. I just want this to work and I don't want to mess up the equipment.

BTW, I ordered my starter kit and supplies from Liberty Flights. The shipping was super fast, and everything I ordered was correct. I'm sure I'll be ordering from them again.

You will not find a more honest person than Ty, he really knows what customer service is.

Congrat's on getting your Riva.

1. It won't hurt to leave it charging longer than 8 hours.
2. You can plug it into a surge protector. I always do that and there's no problem.
3. My atty's last an average of around 2 months each. I keep a whole bunch on hand. I'd suggest you have a couple of spares at least.
4. Yes, we were all anxious.

I don't know of anyone who waited to try their new toy for the recommended charge time. I think most everyone puts one on the charger and vapes the other until it's done.

my Joye 510 (basically same thing) had the same exact charging instructions.. however i was too anxious.. one of the batteries had enough charge in already to get me vaping right away, while i charged teh other.. once the one charging turned green i swapped them out, no more than a couple hours later.. since then i charge them over night and sometimes have to swap a battery out in the middle of the day, doesnt seem to be a rediculous amount of battery swapping, the battery life seems fine. i am not too worried about ruining these two 510 bat's n atty's though, i am anticipating purchasing an ego-T when i get my comission check.. vape on =)
