About 3 weeks ago I purchased a gamucci e-cig for £40, which I've now realised was a waste of money as it's already died out and I have to suck extremely hard to activate the atomiser.

I've now purchased a Riva 510 which I'm extremely excited about for about the house use.

However I was just wondering if I can buy a thinner battery to make it smaller to carry out and about, reserving the larger batteries for home.

What would fit etc? Would also quite like to purchase from Liberty-Flights as I've had a good experience with them.

Thanks,

Jack

Riva 510 uses 510 attys and other accessories. Really, the only thing that makes it a Riva 510 is the battery. There are plenty of "slim" battery PV's out there that will use all of your accessories.

Check out the Joye 510, for example. You could get a Joye 510 battery (or 2) and a charger, and swap everything over when you go out. Battery life will be about 1/4 or less of what you are getting with the Riva, though.

Honestly, I don't see why you would want to- the battery on the Riva isn't that big in size (About the size of a good fountain pen, but half as long). They are also the same price on L F as the Joye batteries. I really don't see the advantage.

You can use a slim 510 with all STANDARD RESISTANCE 510 atomizers/cartomizers and with a 510 charger.

Riva may come with LR (low resistance) atomizers - you cannot put those on slim batteries. LR is only for batteries 450mah and greater because those batteries have beefier electronics to deal with the increased power draw

The Riva charger cannot be used with slim 510 batteries for a similar reason - the Riva charger cable pushes power into the battery too fast for a slim battery.

I use standard resistance Boge cartos and I move them between my Riva and my 510. I have separate charging cables for Riva 510 and slim 510 and I labeled my Riva charging cables to make sure I don't accidentally put a slim 510 battery in them.

And I strongly strongly recommend manual batteries for slim 510 and I recommend Joye brand to be sure you are not getting a clone. At least one clone is reverse polarity which means its chargers would fry normal 510 batteries.
