I just moved to the Riva 901 and I have a couple of questions.

The battery easily lasts me from the morning till night, charging it overnight so it's ready each morning. The kit came with two batteries. With one battery being enough to last the whole day, would I be better off putting the two batteries into a rotation so each one gets a day of rest in between usage or better off packing one away as a replacement when one dies? Anyone know which wold be better for the overall life of the batteries?

I'm using the Riva with a KR808 adapter and cartomizers.
My KR808 USB charger will connect up normally with the adapter on the battery.
Since it's a small cable-less USB charger, it's a bit more packing friendly for travel.
Will I hurt the Riva battery charging it over-night with this charger?
Will it go to a full charge overnight using this charger?

Thanks!

Basics of Li-on batteries (which those are) says best not to store for long periods of time above 40%, charging often is good, but full discharges (ie until the battery tells you it's empty, which is actually above being truly empty) is safe.

I liked carrying both with me (and do still carry at least 2 PVs on me) so I don't risk burning out the atomizer by overuse (spending 20 minutes constantly puffing isn't good for it).

Edit: If you're not going to use the second battery, switch every couple months so it doesn't get damaged by under use.

Valsacar is right long term stoage of Li-ion batteries is not good for them. They have protection circuity that though it does not use much power at all will very slowly discharge them and eventually damage them if they are not charged. You will probably find that you will need a battery change though the day eventually anyway. Either from beginning to vape more or from normal wear of the same battery used every day.

Thanks for the good advice, one final question. A coworker told me I'm better off using the battery until it blinks empty then charge it. He said it was better for the lifespan of the battery. I've been simply putting it on the charger every night, need it or not. Will I shorten its lifespan doing this? Thanks again!
