I'm a noob so bear with me....what will more airflow from a larger hole do with an RM2? Is it something preferable for straight lung hitters? Or are there other benefits?

A larger air hole will lend a cooler vapor temperature (a good thing if you're running very low resistance) and more vapor. If you go very big, flavor and throat hit may diminish.

As a mouth-to-lunger, I keep my air holes at a reasonable diameter.

As FM said airflow controls the heat of the coil. Lower ohm and more airflow nets more vapor. You need to balance air flow with ohms for your perfect vape, whatever that may be. I find 1/16 with 1.2 ohm coils give a nice mouth hit, but a little restrictive for a full lung hit. When I go below .7 ohms I need a much larger hole, 5/64 or two 3/32 holes
