RM2 holes that is :)

The holes don't just go any where.each rm2 has it's hole lined up with its own bottom part. so don't get the tops mixed up if doing all the changes for coils and wicks at one time.

Remember the hole is supposed to be facing up when you vape otherwise you will experience lots of gurgles.

don't make the hole too big if you want more air flow. Start small and increase little by little until satisfied. You don't want to be stuck with a big hole so be careful.

The hole is an important part of the RM2 so pay attention to it.

That's all

Good call. I drilled mine out to 1/16 right off the bat. Hits great, but I'm trying to decide if I wanna go up to 5/64. As you noted, I don't want to be stuck with a larger airhole if I don't like it. So, given I've had it less than a week, I'll probably stay put for a while.

I've done a bit of R&D on cap holes...

Assuming I've perfectly positioned a coil, these caps give me adjustments for throat hit/vapor which I use depending on the juice I'm cooking and the mood I'm in.

With the same coil and juice on my reo, here's my experience, left to right:

1 @ #54 - This is my favorite. 1/16" is a bit too airy for me, these are #54 which is .0550". Great vape, mild throat hit, good 'lung punch' for lack of a better term.

1 @ #56 - This is close to the standard for the reomizer @ .0456". I don't use it that much, but once in a while when I feel like a cooler (1.2-1.7) vg vape I'll use it to increase the throat hit a bit. Also produces less vapor. My favorite coil gets wrapped on the bit though

3 @ #72 - Three holes at #72. This is slightly airier than the stock reomizer (very slightly), but produces more vapor than the #56 and noticeably more throat hit than both the #56 and #54. I use this one when I'm feeling 'frisky' or just come across a juice that needs a little umph.

I'm going to keep grinding away at hole sizes, but for now dropping this here in case anyone wants some reference points...
