RM2 airhole size

Hi Fellow reonauts!
I'm not really clear about what enlarging the air hole size does to the vape. I understand you're supposed to enlarge it when going low resistance, but why is it so?
So that it cools the ultrahot coil? Ok. But does it give cooler vape? More vapor (or less)? Is there an effect on flavor?

Btw I did enlarge mine (butchered it with a needle) the day I received my RM2 just because the draw was feeling tight. But that can't be a valid reason. I can get used to any draw.
What I really need is a vape physics 101 course lol.

Generally speaking..."cloud" chasers use bigger holes to increase airflow on lower Ω coils to get big clouds at the loss of taste. Smaller airholes reduce the cloud but gives more flavor along w/ a warmer vape. Each will have their own preference.

I leave it where it is. I'm vaping at or below 1 ohm, and as far as I'm concerned it's fine. YMMV
