Airflow is so subjective. All of those builds were fine* with the same air I draw on a .5Ω micro single. (~1.4mm hole) Now that I can choose, I would probably bump it up to 1.6 or 1.7mm

*fine meaning, thicker, heavier, sweeter, warmer . . . . . but why else build it?

I agree on the subjectivity of airflow but from my experience it does play a part in efficiency. When I really got into sub-ohm (.4-.6) and dual coils the importance of proper air-flow became even more important.

As always thanks for sharing your expertise & posting the pics!!

Agreed, it's a very important factor. I just meant that my standard is 1.4mm and yours is more like 1.6mm. So if I were to say that I enjoyed a certain vape at 1.6, it would mean that I increased airflow substantially. So, the "how much" is subjective.

So, pdib, which is your favorite in use? The first one looks nice and straight forward.

The first one is the most friendly. These are all more for the fun of trying something than for constant use. The dual coil is reasonable for ADV tho. The third one (the "T"), if I recall correctly, was when I was trying to compensate for the timid, mellow nature of Kanthal (vs Nichrome). I had the vertical coil for balance (vertical coils tend to give a very full, mellow, well rounded vape), and the high horizontal coil was to increase acidic flavors and TH. The more air passes under a horizontal coil, the more treble notes and TH are highlighted.
