Never thought id say that about anything I bought off reo site. But the center post is a joke! Maybe it's just the one I got but I went ahead and modified it anyways like an idiot before thinking I could possibly return it. Anyways. Steer clear of it. I got it then the ext day the rm4 came out. Figures.

Is the center post spinning or wobbly? I have never worked on one of those but I'm sure it's similar to most other atties and the insulator might have worn a little when it was pressed out and back in. A new insulator would fix it. I'm sure Rob will be along soon, he's great about stuff like that. Give peace a chance...

poof... And there he is, while I was typing.

Must've been a bad one. I had high hopes. The center post was the bust. I just tried a normal 28g dual coil (not wht I usually do. I like twisted kanthal builds) but I couldn't even tighten the screw enough to lock both wires down without it spinning and in turn not reading on my ohm meter. I actually had to push te center post down a little bit with almost no pressure just to get it to ohm out. I was angered by this and went ahead and mode out the airholws and center post anyways maybe thinking I could make it work. Well I made it work for a few but the center screw keeps coming out because I can't tighten it enough before it starts to spin :( I haven't emailed Rob about it because I bug him enough as is, haha. I wish I would've said something and just calmed my easily agitated ... who just got off a midnight shift, haha.

I am a very peaceful guy! Reading text could give off a bad vibe. But I was just agitated is all. Usps messed up and sent it to the wrong house too so my vape mail was delayed then this happened. I love reo and everything to do with it! :):)

I also work night shift 1030-630 am I understand the crankiness, my Flamin' Red SL/LP was supposed to be delivered today but it's stuck in postal version of Groundhog Day so I'm with you on that too. I wasn't trying to chastise you, far from it..

Ouch!! Makes you want to drive your car through the front office and make off with your new baby, doesn't it?! Especially after a night shift, lol.

I dont think you got a bad atomizer I think you thought atomizers should come set up for twisted wire but not all of them do these dont .
In my line of work you need to be calm like a cool breeze .
I am sorry it didn't work out for you in the future I would ask me before you buy a atomizer if it can take twisted wire. I could have adjusted the atty for you

I never ended up putting twisted in it or trying because it couldn't handle normal kanthal:( wasn't able to get that far. Just retried other normal builds. Wasn't having any success. What do you do to change the atty for twisted style builds??

[Q UOTE=NC_Fog;13651032]FYI...the LP RM2's handle twisted 32 great. I have it in all 4 of mine.
Are the LP RM2s different from normal RN2s? I put all sorts of stuff in my rm2, haha. Handles it all awesome.

The only difference is the LP RM2's are not machined at the bottom. The regular RM2's are machined at the bottom so that they will fit inside the catch cup of the original style Reos.
