Yeah I'm a big advocate for the RN4081, but I must say that I do not have the same experience in terms of atty lifespan.

I'm on my 5th atomizer since June 2nd when I started the vape switch. But 1 died in 1 day and the other died in 8 days.

Are you letting them dry out? A dry atty will die right away. I also mix loads of Glycerin in my mix.

If by being dried out you mean I don't directly drip then yes I don't do that. But I always keep the cart filled.

I just keep my carts filled. I use a 50 / 50 mix with Glycerin. My juice is very thick. My atomizer is going on four months old and still going strong. I tend to think that the thick mix is helping it along.

I'm still going on the same RN4081 batteries, bought a few spare because the charge time is short though. Only atty I lost well... I lost it and can't find it anymore.

I wanted to post a new thread for a review after yesterday, I dropped an RN4081 in the street while biking to work. Found it several hours later after it had apparently been run over multiple times, battery was a bit bent out of shape and the cartridge smashed but it still works great, damn things a little champ.

I needed 4081 batteries, and everyone was out of stock. I picked up 6 DSE103 batts, and they're working just fine.

What are some of the differences between the 103 vs stock batteries for the 4081? Do the 103 batteries have less of a defect rate as the 4081s? (I have 3 batteries: 1 is perrrfect, the other two have the wont-shut-off-when-done-puffing issue) Are they the same length? (I use the 510 PCC to carry/charge my 4081s but the 4081s fit perfectly only after filing off a half mm or so from the led cover).

Thanks in advanced!!

Wife and I have been using the SmokeStik since the beginning, which is an RN4081, and have tried cleaning and not cleaning the atty. I always cleaned. Used hot water, soaked, dried well, and attys didn't last nearly as long as hers, which she NEVER cleaned in any way. I got several weeks work from mine. She has one or two that have been going strong for a couple of months. Needless to say, I am no longer cleaning my new ones. Speaking of no respect, the SmokeStik receives very little mention in the forums and we can't understand why. Didn't cost a fortune to start, parts aren't that expensive, and we refill our carts.
