Hi

I've just received a starter kit from here:

Clearance Super Micro Starter Pack [RN40812A] - £12.50 : Liberro.co.uk, Online Store

I put battery on for 2+hrs until light went green, but my problem is it only seems to last about 10 - 15mins until it starts flashing on every draw. I know I'm not hitting the 5 sec cut off so can only assume it requires charging. I've put it back on charge and left until light goes green but again, each time after 10 - 15mins use it starts flashing again.

Is it a dud?

It might be a dud, but it could also be that it wasn't fully charged. The lights on some of the chargers turn green before the battery has actually gotten a full charge. Try leaving it on the charger for at least 3-4 hrs. and see if that works. If it doesn't, then yes, it might be a battery problem.

Wow! Cheers for such quick replies!

Interestingly I have noticed that if I disconnect the atty and suck on the battery alone it doesn't do it unless I suck for 5 secs. (Was this a good test?)

Whenever I reconnect the atty however it starts again. Confused.

Have put it back on charge now - is there any danger of overcharging it i.e. overnight? Cos will have to go to bed before 4 hrs is up!
