Yes it was azsmokefree - BTW his cheap 510 cartos are just OK but his cheap rn4081 cartomizers are great - they only hold a little over 1ml - but they really last longer then any other cartos I have used and give off very good vapor

Thanks for the tip Kushka! Been at the site already and found the adapter. It does say, the 4081 batt to a 510 adapter "won't work on a cartomizer at this time"... But its so cheap... I'm gona' give it a try anyway. I already have Boge 510 cartomizers that you mentioned worked for you.

And I'll try the m4081 cartomizers too, just wish they weren't that gross yellow filter color. Hoping if I take off the tape, it will be stainless steel underneath to match my battery color. Have you tried that, or I am the only person who cares about such trivial things? LOL!

BTW...your chimp avatar is great! I am a primatologist specializing in chimpanzee behavior...so anything "chimp" goes a long way with me. Love his ecig...

So they are aluminum underneath? How closely would you say they would match stainless?

You know - you'all really ask imposable questions :glare:-

I pealed a covering off one off my cartomizer (which I had written toffee-choc on so I could tell it from my others - and now it looks like my full of cinnamon red hot lr-510 cart! I have messed up my system )

Then to get the sticky stuff off I had to use lighter fluid (which I did not have and so had to borrow from my son who now suspects I am sneaking cigs again :smokie:)
- and now I am suppose to tell the difference between aluminum and stainless :?: I have no earthly idea? I did not even know there was one

Right now it is screwed into a 510/rn5081 adapter - which is screwed into a green ego. If I take off the cone - I can see it matches the color of the adapter (maybe very sightly duller) and neither of them is as shinny or bright as the silver part of the ego and I really have no idea about the metal composition of any of them, I only guessed the cartomizer was aluminum, because it is a cheap silver metal and these were cheap - :2c:

But the covering does come off easy -especially if they have been warmed by vaping - in fact after a couple of days of vaping the edge of the covering tends to start coming off on its on. :( They are fairly ugly coverings - "filter' colored - but they are easy to write the flavor on- :)

And I an sorry for being snappish - it is just I am not a visually oriented person at all - and have never even thought there might be a difference in the color aluminum and stainless :?:

I did get a fork which is suppose to be stainless and it is closer in color to my fork then the top of my ego is - but as I said - I am very bad at color - if you saw my house you would know not to ask me to judge anything by color - it is just not a talent I have -

LMAO! Thanks for the excelent description. I won't ask you to try and stick a megnet to it. Good enough description. Just trying to figure out how well it will maych my SmokeStik Pitbull(which I am truely enjoying BTW. The pressure sensitive auto switch is unbelievable). Thanks again for taking the time.

The SmokeStik cartos are stainless BTW. That is why I was curious.
