I just wanna start out by saying thank you to everyone on ECF, this is my first post, but have been reading the forum for a couple of weeks. Without the information on ECF, I would of gotten frustrated with my e-cig and gone back to analogs within a couple of days.

Now, I just got a 4081 two weeks ago, but haven't tried the M401 so have no input there.

Up to this point I love my 4081 except for the cartridge size. I replaced all the stock cartridge media with fluval today, and it seems to hit a lot better but holds even less liquid. I ordered some double carts yesterday, and I think after I get those, I am gunna love my 4081.

They look similar in pictures but in reality the M401 is quite a bit slimmer than the RN4081. Personally I prefer the M401. For me, it gives a better throat hit. The vapour from it just seems that bit hotter (especially with a USB pass through which really heats it up). The battery life is also pretty good, especially from the Evo, which is a modified M401.

The RN4081 is not bad. A lot of people who use it prefer to drip than use cartridges. You've also now got the option now to use "cartomizers" with them (throw away cartridges and atomiser in one unit). I haven't used them, but its another option. See here for example Disposable Atomiser & Cartridge 1.8% - 5 Pack [4081DISP_18] - £9.49 : E-Cigs.co.uk, Online Store

The 4081 and 401 are two completely different animals. Both are small, light to medium duty. Both give a good throat hit.

There are extended cartridges available now for the 4081's. Some people in the RN4081 group ordered them, but I don't think we have a review yet.

I own both, and love em both. I'm a light to medium vapor, and batteries last me most of the day. My attys last for months.

I started out on the Njoy RN4081. It was a way into vaping. I liked the unit. It is pretty easy to operate and maintain. I went to the 510 and never looked back. I'm selling 8 4081's in the classified section. Sorry for the plug. Not a bad e cig.

If I didn't have a 2 year supply of 4081 parts, I'd grab em.

I have no experience with the 4081, but I do like my m401. I mainly use my Nebula (less vapor than a 401, but massive throat hits) because the m401's cartridge size is despicable, and although it works great when dripping, it can sometimes be a hassle to drip every 5 minutes.

I like the m401 for its massive vapor, ease of use, and size; but I don't like its complete lack of throat hit. I'll mainly use the 401 when my throat is sore or I'm in the mood to french inhale; that's my 2 cents.
