What does everyone think of this thing? New Authentic Rocky Rebuildable Dripper Tank | eBay It seems sort of like a better designed reverse 3D Auto to me... pressing down on the driptip opens a valve and drips juice down to a three post rda deck! Looks really easy to build and fill.

Suck My mod on Youtube loves it...

It seems pretty interesting to me. Does anyone have one?

I'd be interested in the Rocky RDA, because the price is right. But it's a gravity-fed device, essentially - you open the valve to let the juice flow down on the deck - and my VG juices are so thick I doubt very much they'd work too well.

To be honest, I'm much more interested in the Big Dripper by Sub Ohm Innovations, but $130... *gasp*. Considering my regular, non-pump-action drippers cost less than $10 a pop, the price difference is staggeringly steep, especially for the missus. So sadly, at that price, I'll wait for the clone to appear on the market. Or I'll try the Rocky RDA instead: at $25, if it doesn't work with my juices, I can soak up the loss.

My concern as well.
Wouldn't be hard to modify to let more/thicker juices in though. But if the plunger is copper under that I dont know if that is a game I want to play.

the concept as a whole is sound and may just take a bit of refining to optimize

Ok so I finally received my order today. What I want to do is give you first impressions of this and then take some time to mess around with different builds and then give it a better review.

First impressions:
Not bad looking, the one I opened ( ordered 2 ) is chrome plated copper with a brass connection pin which is aslo plated according to the instructions. This one has a plastic tank. I think the newer ones are glass.

The device itself feels cheaply made. Not like anything made of Stainless.

Like said in the Todd review the O-rings on the bottom holding the upper section are just a smidge to small. The Tank section wiggles a bit. I tried holding it from the tank and shaking it connected to my segelei 20w to see if it would release and it did not. With that said it I think I will try to aid dental floss or see if I can get a slightly larger o-ring. Don't really like that it moves even when your vaping it

There are 3 different size air holes on both sides of the build deck and one on each side of the tank section. I have been using the largest hole and I believe that I'm going to open it up. To me it needs to be larger. Sorry don't have hole sizes.

The Drip tip wiggles and does not fit snuggly. Not bad but can get annoying.

The build deck is not that great. It is made for dual coil builds althought I am vaping it now with a single .7 ohm twisted 28 ga coil with organic cotton wick. I tried to put 2 coils in but the posts have slits in them and not holes for the coils and they are two small for the twisted wire. Now the problem the slits cause is that if you put your wire in them and then screw it down, the screw is not long enough to hold the wire in the post. So I just put one coil in wrapping the wire around the screw. I will maybe use some 32 ga to make a dual coil in a few days and post again with that update. Also the air holes on the build deck don't really line up with your coils depending on which one you want to use. You have to do a lot of manuvering and the deck is not that big due to the high lip.

So after setting it up filling the tank and vaping it I have to say that it does vape pretty well. I do like the concept of this device. Dripping without dripping! Like I said these are first impressions but I will come back after so time and see if things change or if I do some modifications to it and let you guys know whats happening.
