So as usual, I have been checking my order status a couple of times a day. Who doesn't? V4L packages are like Christmas! Now, I know the post office is always a bit behind on updating, but this one made me make this face; then all I could do is laugh.

@MaryKay; No, on Saturday, the 28th. Looks like V4L shipped it on Monday but USPS misplaced the shipping info until today. I *think* it should be here tomorrow. (Fingers crossed.)

@JayDar82; Lol that's as bad as the airlines. Atlanta to NY via Dallas. I once ordered something from a town that's 3 hours straight south of me. USPS however feels they have to take it to their sorting facility 3 and 1/2 hours southeast. That means 2 and 1/2 hours from origination, 3 and 1/2 from the sorting facility, plus an extra day. If my old car didn't suck gas so bad I'd have just gone and picked it up! And the government wonders why the postal service is going broke...

LOL no kidding! I live in south florida, for some unknown reason if I order from another south florida company on the other side of the state, about 2 hours from here, they seem to have to send it all the way to tampa and back for it to get here,

And that's all I get until it's delivered. Then, after it's delivered, I check back and sure enough it tells me it was sorted in my local post office and went out for delivery that morning.

What is the point of having any sort of tracking service when it doesn't track?

They kill me.

Now mind you V4L sent me the shipped e-mail monday the 29th.?.?...lol Before that it was telling me 'no record found' when I put in the tracking number. Who knows with USPS anymore.

I'm with you Junbug. What I failed to mention in my earlier posts is that I decided to go ahead and order some additional stuff after my first order went to processing. My second package is showing the same results as yours, even though I received both shipping confirmations from V4L at the same time.

On a related note, I wonder what V4L's local post office thought on monday when they were inundated with orders from the sale... can you imagine how many of us ordered over the weekend?

My latest package has decided that Illinois to Pennsylvania was too cold and took an excursion to Puerto Rico.

I've gotta say that after like a month's worth of orders, I am completely SICK of USPS. Orders taking a four-day nap in Philadelphia, side trips to Puerto Rico...

God forbid I ever had an order emergency - it might be a week and a half I'm caught short because of USPS and their inability to do what they get PAID to do.

Forgive me, but I have a hard time having a sense of humor over this. Nine days from IL to PA? Side trips to Puerto Rico? That's hardly amusing. I'm glad y'all are only having the occasional problem, or amusing inconsistency in tracking, but I've become extremely disappointed and increasingly frustrated with their ham-fisted service. I'd pay for UPS in a heartbeat.
