hi, my name is steven , still new to the vaping however have not had a real cig for five weeks. my wife and daughter are delighted, I feel better and smell better, and have no intention of going back to the tobbaco,, however, i have a few questions if anybody can help me out. I purchased a ROK STAR five weeks ago, its ok, however I find that when the battery starts to drain the performance is crap, but i can live with that cos I've always got the other battery on charge, however the real problem is the atty, I only seem to get a week out of one before I get problems, reduced vape, flavour etc, I have gone through 4 in five weeks ! At 8 pounds plus postage per atty its a bit expensive. I have stripped down a couple of them and I am sure I can rebuild it, bought Kanthal A1 0.15mm wire and some wick, the problem is the no resistance wire, where can I get wire thin enough to go through the porcaline cup that the coil sits in ? sorry, my spelling is terrible lol, can anybody help ? Secondly, I have just just purchased an ego 808, the were going really cheap at twenty pounds, much cheaper than rok for the same thing, and it gives you 2 900 batterys, (should have done my research before I bought the rok ), does this have the porcaline cup the same as the rok, or the silicone one i saw on a utube for rok star atty rebuild ? Last question , If this all fails and I cant rebuild the atty, what else is will fit the batteries that I have, Is it a 510 connection ? will boge cartomisers fit ? whats most cost effective ?
