Rok star lacks punch

Hi all a newbie to the forum
I've had an ego-c since i started vaping over 7mths ago and recently purchased the rok star purely on looks ,But try as i might i just can't get the same throat hit and flavour ,ive increased nic levels from 24 to 36 but still it lacked throat hit and i've even mixed my own liquid and still no damn throat hit and flavor is lacking compared to my ego-c. I've got 4 tanks and 4 attys and all exactly the same so i can't see it being a bad atty.Pity cause i really do like the look of the rok star.Anyone else had same experience or better still found a solution.. thanks in advance chris

hi chris. welcome to ecf. congrats on your decision to vape. i know nothing about the roc star, but i love my joyetech c 1000mah. with my ce5 clearomizer...no problems. got them on sale at my freedom smokes at a great price....at least you know that you can go back to your trusty ego. read everything you can and watch the videos. i find reading reviews to be the most important reading here, after of course all the newby stuff.

Hi thanks wandawag i belive rok star is a UK based company which is probably why you ain't heard of it ,but boy is it sexy ...ideal world would be rok star looks and ego performance .. till then its performance over looks and back to the trusty ego

In my opinion, a battery is a battery. It supplies voltage, amperage and wattage to a coil that supplies ohms, creating heat that vaporizes juice. Granted, some batteries may have more kick on the amperage and wattage part. To me, that is the only thing I can think of. Have you tried letting your coil get hot before vaping? I've noticed some flavor tastes better with a hotter coil than others.

I'm thinking its Rok's double wick atomiser that is the problem but i can't use any others .There was a lot of reports of wicking issues especially if you used VG only liquids .Was hoping someone on here may have solution or alternative compatible atomiser .
