As an anniversary gift, my wife has decided she wanted to buy a new mod for me for our anniversary. The decision has been narrowed down to the Roller or the Panzer.
Would any of you fine ladies and gentlemen of ECF care to provide some insight to help with this critically important deision? Please...
She's also offered a GG as a third choice.....AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!!
Thank you in advance for any help..

Those are some good choices in my opinion. I myself just bought a panzer, took me forever to actually find a place that actually had them in stock though. To me it all comes down to what you personally want. From what ive read and I could be wrong, the roller is pretty customizable. So thats something to factor in. The only thing I wish the panzer had was a magnetic firing button, but thats just a personal preference. Sorry I know this reply is kinda late and all but I hope it helps.

i just ordered the panzer, waiting now! in my opinion, looks better. questions for you heisinberg... the lacking of magnetic switch, could you possibly put some magnets in there? interested because i would love to do so if you can when i get mine. also, the positive pin: i know its telescopic but is the female portion of the telescope system removable? looking at some silver pin replacements (no idea why they have any brass contacts in a $200 mod EXCEPT to intice peaple to buy upgrades) i was just wondering because if you replace the male end of the telescoping positive pin with silver and the other part is brass dont you suffer voltage drop from that part? anyways, let me know at your leisure i guess, may post a thread just for those questions, but id love to get info from someone who owns it instead of potential speculation from the peanut gallery

You sound exactly like me lol we are in the same position. I did actually buy the silver pin upgrade, again once I actually found them that is. I got them at Hyperion Vape. If your interested. But to answer some of your questions, yes you can break the whole mod down, I cleaned it when I first got it and im pretty positive that everything came apart. But the magnet thing, im not sure, ive been searching for the answer myself and I cant find anything on it. Once my silver pins came in I also noticed that the 510 connection was still brass. I dont understand that, its a floating pin and the silver pin just screws into it. So im honestly not sure if that cancels things out? Or what? Sorry I couldn't of been more help to you. If you find anything out let me know please, id appreciate it.

well, i was looking at some pictures (feel free to supply some if possible the ones i saw were blurry and it wasnt taken all the way apart) from the pictures i saw that the positive pin screws up through the floating pin to meet the atty connection? honestly i have no clue lol... either way, next question is: can it be removed? the brass part that is. if it can, ill take it down to a guy that SAYS he can replicate any piece of metal (he works with a CNC machine so theoretically he could i guess) depending on your response and my ability not to go completely mental waiting for this thing, maybe we could figure out what is really going on lol. oh and about the magnets, i'm sure they would work if there any readily available that fit, thing is so heavy however that magnets wouldnt prevent it from autofireing i dont think... (does the stock spring autofire when you set it down?) ANYWAYS, email me so i have your email address if you'd like and together maybe we could make this panzer the talk of the town lol my email is thekiddzac@gmail.com if you are interested, i'd pm you but it looks like maybe you can't get PM's yet?

The brass floating pin can be removed. I too have a panzer with silver pins and was also discouraged to find out that the atty connection was still brass. I spoke to the people that make these silver pin upgrades and asked as to why they didn't make the brass piece in silver also. They said they tried to at first, but the end of it (that contacts the atty) kept mushrooming. So they decided on brass for durability. thekidzac, if your guy can replicate the brass floating pin in 92.5% silver, that would be awesome and I would be totally down for a couple pieces

Also chi you magnets will work in the switch. The switch cannot autofire if you set it down since the button is recessed.

So you have the chi you magnets in your panzer?? Ive always been wondering if another mods magnet set would work in the panzer. I would also be into the 510 silver pin if anyone could get there hands on some.

I personally don't have the magnets. I learned this from other members of MCV's facebook group.
