I have been vaping on my Vision spinner and Vision Victory BCC for exactly one day. These are my rookie mistakes so far.

- I wanted to recharge the battery so I unscrewed the tank where the atomizer comes off, and down came the juice.
- I left the battery on while in my pocket and some of the liquid leaked probably because of the button being pushed.
- I screwed the atomizer in the tank too tightly, had a rough time trying to unscrew it.

So, I am indeed a noob when it comes to vaping using a VV battery and a tank. So, here are few questions I would like you kind folks here to answer and help me.

1. How tightly does the atomizer need to be screwed to the tank?
2. How tightly does the tank need to be screwed to the battery?
3. I am using a 2.5 Ohms atomizer at 3.8 V. I noticed the taste gets harsher if I go any higher. If I go lower than 3.5 V, I feel like I might accidentally suck some liquid. What is a good setting for a 2.5 Ohms atomizer?
4. I press the button, take a drag, then let of the button. Is this the correct sequence of events?

Thanks guys.

On bottom coil I go atleast 2 over ohm, a 2.5ohm I would set at 4.5v for most clearos. Bottom coil would probably be higher for me since I like a warm vape. As for being too harsh the nic may just be too high. Leaking would be the clearo no pushing the button since the button doesn't let juice out just fires the coil to vaporize the liquid.

As for tightness the head I usually tighten fairly snug whereas the tank to the battery is just snug, over tightening to the battery can strip the threads or push the center pin down too far.

Your technique is good and assume you are drawing into your mouth then inhaling from mouth to lungs after you take the device away.

1. Tight enough to not leak, and not too tight to deform the seal
2. Only until a connection is made and no tighter
3. About 4.2 - 4.8 volts
4. Yes

In a few days, you won't even think about these issues and they'll be second nature. Great questions! Good Luck, Power Up and Vape On!

i too have made some mistakes to day.

Used a nail to punch a hole in my cart, which ended up bending the cart alittle, and then forceing the bent cart into my tank, with the cart screwed on to the battery, then trying to fill the tank, and e juice just went went all over the place on my hand, battery, wasted about 4 ml of juice before i realized i messed/bent up the cart:(, spend about 30 mins cleaning up the mess, then about another 15 mins trying to pull the bent cart out of my tank with the left over juice in the tank sliding down my battery, then another 30 mins cleaning the juice of my battery and all on the outside of my tank.. what a day i had...

we learn from our mistakes..

I did the same thing with my EVOD just the other day. Luckily I did it over a paper towel so the mess was slightly minimized.

I've removed the EVOD from the battery to refill it but then neglected to remove the base before filling. So I end up filling up the base where the contact point is. I've done this TWICE! I don't know if I get distracted easily or what. I must be gettin' old. Maybe I should stick to the top-fill clearos.

yeah i've done that a few times with my evod...taking it off the battery to switch flavors and accidentally loosened the base to the evod instead of where it connects to the battery....

the volts is a personal pref...everyone's different...every juice is different and every delivery system is different...my cartomizers i tend to lower my volts, evod I tend to set about half way...if i've used more of my clove oil instead of clove flavoring it's hit and miss sometimes i set it way down other times way up to try and offset the perfumey taste.

Thanks everyone. I set my batt at 4V and it is much better. I will fix the atomizer next time I refill.
I hear a gurgling sound when I draw, is that normal?

Gurgling usually indicates you have some liquid in the center draw tube. This cuts down on performance. Remove the battery and try blowing through the clearomizer(onto a paper towel) a couple times and then wipe out the base where it connects to the battery and also the top of the battery.

When you refill with liquid, don't fill up over the center tube in the clearomizer. This allows fluid to get in there and cause gurgling. Sometimes when the liquid level gets low you'll get some gurgling too. Hard to say for sure, all clearos have their own quirks.

When you draw you should hear some slight "crackling" or "popping", this is normal.
