Hey guys I was wondering if anyone is using this flavor from VV in any tanks and if so if they were having any issues. I was about to place an order for some but wanted to see if there would be any problems. I read about some people having issues with root beer flavors in polycarbonate tanks. Apperently it made them more brittle. I tend to only use tanks these days and wouldn't want to run into one cracking up on me. Thanks in advance

Hi CromsDog, you're absolutely right, some cola-type flavors can cause problems for polycarbonate plastics (cracks or brittleness or even melting). However, I put a warning on the product page of any flavor that I know causes problems for tanks and I've never experienced or had any reports of problems with this flavor. Some cola flavors can be a problem for tanks, but this one shouldn't be! Plus, you get the option of choosing Just Root Beer or a Root Beer Float, depending on what sounds good!

A few distributors are offering polypropylene (syringe-type plastic) tanks. I've switched all of my tanks to these and therefore have no worries about what juices I use. They are all either frosted or frosted colors, you can still easily see your juice levels; I also find that they seem to be even sturdier than the old polycarbonate tanks. I have them in both 3.5 and 5 ml sizes, with metal endcaps.

If you can't find any of these on your own, message me here on the forums.
