That's actually what I did. I got the connections set right and I even raised the "bump" for the battery with a bit more solder. It took a while to get good connections, but I eventually did on the wire. It's now working about 99 percent of the time. Still every now and then I don't get anything, so I'm led to believe that it is the actual switch.
I went to Radio Shack and grabbed some new nice switches (the press on them feels perfect) but unfortuatally they are just like 2mm to wide on the
threads to fit through the hole in the end cap. I'm pretty happy I got it working pretty decently now and I'll probably stay with it like this till I get back from vacation next week when I plan to order two of the "build your own" box kits from
madvapes. All this tinkering finally pushed me off the edge of wanting to
mod and now I have a sickness I think, I can't get it off the brain.
