Title says it all, I'm currently considering buying a RoughStack v2 with about 60 to 80 dollars worth of extras lr/hr attys, gooseneck, batteries for different voltages. Or I could buy a Silver bullet with only a few batteries, maybe a lr atty or two. I'm looking for something durable, the "Name Brand" doesn't mean much to me but I haven't seen or used either of these mods, and would like opinions on which people thing would be a better buy? Also customer service and fairly priced replaceable parts is a big plus for me, I have a 3 year old that love tossing things. Was also looking at Prodigy v 3.1, but I'm not sold on how durable it is. Currently own Volcano Inferno, and an Infinity VV which I love, just not around my little girl.

I LOVE my Roughstack, but- the button is on the top. The plus is that I feel like it's less likely to misfire in my pocket, but the downside is that I have to use an adapter with tank mods so they clear the switch. The finish doesn't show fingerprints, and I'm pretty sure your little angel won't kill it though.
I don't know anything about the silver bullet- it looks like a fancier version of the Roughstack with the switch on the side. It looks like you're spending about double for essentially the same thing- just a little prettier.
If you're looking for durable the REO's are pretty indestructible. Bottom feeders are uber convenient when you have little ones to chase around.
The E-power is a solid performer, and I know someone makes an 18650 version of an Ego too- but I can't remember the name at the moment.

Thanks for the quick replies, I am leaning towards the RoughStack. @SuziesMom, I've looking into the REO but to be honest the price is a little to high for me, and I'm really not into the box mods, have one or two laying around from diy mods, didn't like the feel of them, they preformed great just didn't "do it for me" I guess, but thank you for the suggestion, tough is what i'm going for.
That is the biggest issue with the Roughstack IMO. The button placement makes the connector off center so the mod will look "lopsided" with a tank. I'm not overly impressed with the button action either. WIth that said I own and regularly use a Roughstack, it is a tough and dependable mod.
On the flip side the silver bullet is not vented and is not recommended for 6v vaping (it expressly states this on altsmoke's site). The button action and placement are great (again IMO). Plus if it matters to you at all the sb will not look "lopsided" with a MAP tank. The silver bullet is another of the nearly indestructible mods., and altsmoke (and chad) have a solid reputation for customer service.
Either mod is a good choice, it all depends on your personal preferences.
I've got both a Maxi Roughstack (V1) and an SB. I don't use the RS anymore the SB is so much better. The fit and finish is much nicer, the button is much better quality, it's built even sturdier than the RS, and it'll take any 18650 battery you want.
The RS on the other hand has the top mounted button which I do prefer. It's quite crudely finished and the top and bottom sections on mine don't quite line up right. The tube diameter is smaller than on the SB and it won't take some of the batt's I've got because they're just a bit to wide. The switch isn't sealed on the RS and juice can get in there and foul it up, but it is user replaceable so you can spend the $14 and just stick a new one in when it gets too gunked up. The connector on my RS is not quite right and atty's fit kind of wobbly in it if they're not screwed in all the way. The connector on the SB is perfect and I just screw atty's down until they make contact and it's tight. Over tightening atty's will eventually ruin a connector by compressing the insulating material inside.
As soon as I got my SB the RS went into backup duty. It really hasn't been used since. I got an Omega a while back so there's little chance of the RS ever seeing the light of day again. Both the SB and Omega are so much better than the RS.

I have 2 RS and an SB...I always reach for my SB first. It is a solid mod and hits like a truck....just don't drop it on your toe....I still have the bruise.
I'll swear by the Silver Bullet. I've had mine for well over a year and after using many different mods, the SB is still in daily use.
BTW, The Silver Bullet handles 6v just fine. Most sites have that same disclaimer about "stacking batteries".

Back on the fence, still slightly leaning towards the RoughStack, only because of how reasonable it is to replace the parts, I won't panic if anything did happen to it. Can you get just replacement parts for the silver bullet like just the head with button, or body for a decent price? These are what concerns me. Would anyone still buy a Silver Bullet knowing it's going to be knocked around quite a bit? I do like the look of the silver bullet over the RoughStack, it's just that, this thing will end up falling and being tossed, not just by my daughter.
Ok, Thanks everyone, I'm going with the RoughStack v2 for now maybe when I have a bit more money and less destructive environment I'll buy a silver bullet. After weighing the pros and cons, I simply don't want to subject the Silver Bullet to the kind of torture I know the RoughStack is in for, I think the RoughStack will take the beating and keep on going, it looks sturdy and thick. If not I can replace the parts or pieces that need it. Thanks for all the info a opinions.
