Recently got my roughstack, and a big ... 2400mAH 3.7v battery. Currently using the 2.5ohm cartos I have been using with my eGo batteries. They difinatley hit better.

Thinking about ordering a pair of 3v batteries to try 3.5ohm @ 6v
thinking about ordering some 1.8ohm DC cartos to try at 3.7v

any opinions?

So far, I live this roughstack a lot more than an eGo battery.

i REALLY liked the 5v batteries (4.8v NiMH). 600mah lasted me about 5 hours HEAVY use @2.0Ohm. typically 2.5-3 of them a day. id suggest 2 chargers:)

i just sold them though, after about 10 days of use. i purchased and iatty so i plan to adjust power based on resistance. these batteries were pimp though! no lie!

3.5 ohms at 6.0v is going to be a pretty hot vape. Fresh off the charger batts are right around 3.5v each for a total of 7.0v. That's going to create 14 watts of power from the coil. Even when the batts drain down to 3.0v and you are at 6.0v, it's over 10 watts. 4 to 4.5 ohms is more appropriate for a single coil on a 6.0v set up.

I'm really fond of the 5.0v ni-mh batts madvapes sells. I've been using 1.5 ohm dual coils, 3.0 ohm attys, and 3.0 ohm boge cartos on my maxi rough stacks with that batt. At 6.0v, my life-p04 batts (6.0v set up) produces 5.0v under load with a 1.5 ohm dual coil. That's a really nice vape but on the hot side. The ni-mh 5.0v batts produce around 4.4 or 4.5 volts under load with the 1.5 ohm dual coils and it's as close to perfect as I've gotten.

The dual coils perform pretty well at 3.7v, but they shine from 4.4 to 5.0v (load voltage). The mega-xl dual coils are actually just plain awesome at 5.0v load voltage, so if you go with the lifep04 batts and charger at madvapes, try one of the mega dual coil cartos.

Guess for now I will just try 510 Dual Coil Stainless Mega Cartomizer at 3.7v I wanted to get a 510 shorty extender just to protect the threads in my roughstack anyways
I hadn't refereed to my chart for the wattage readings, seems I would need to jump way up to 3+ohm at 6v

Will these outperform a 2.5ohm at the same voltage (3.7 in my case)?

Ikenvape says "Rated at 1.6Ω-1.8Ω Recommended for 3.4-4.19V"

I was using 3.2 ohm cartos for awhile with two 3v batts on my Maxi RS and the hit and flavor to me was great but since started the DC carts that's all I use on that set up....do like the DC carts on my VV box mod at 5-5.5 volts though. But I really like the big hit.The new 4.8 NiMH batts hit well with DC carts but I like 6v better.I also have the epower, ego's,RS,and while they hit OK with the DC'S nothing like the 6v to me.I would luv to see a 6v batt that would fit the MaxiRS if that is possible.
