So i started e-cig back in 2008. I had a good run with 901's for about a year. Jumped back on the wagon in 2010 with tons of more researching. I ended up with a nice BB from Alt smoke which i enjoyed. But 2011 i fell off again. Looking to make another run and of course i feel like a missed a bunch of new stuff and have to research again. My main goal now is avoiding lots of maintenance, limit dripping and go toward something more disposable. Not that i am lazy but i feel if there is less maintenance, i might actually stick with it longer.

So the question is this what cartos have the best pull, vapor, and last the longest. I am assuming cartos are the way to go?

Also i have lots of standard 901 batteries, the BB, and a 510 adaptor...should i upgrade my batteries to something different?

Just for reference i am not a heavy smoker but i truly need something that i don't need to tinker much with....i wouldn't mind occasionally dripping though.

Thanks for any input as always!!

Welcome back fsu1dolfan.

Yeah, it might be time to get some new batteries, or a whole new set up. Check out the E-power at Madvapes.

E-Power Replacable Battery kit!

And while you are on the site, look for the new Bolt and check that out too. Or the Rough Stack V2.

Check here at E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings for good prices on Ego and Riva 510 kits.

Seems like many have chosen to go with cartomizers these days. I believe that the most popular are Boge 2.0 ohm and the Smoketech 1.7 ohm single coil XL. Also found at Madvapes. Or the 1.7 Resurrectors from Crystal Clear Vaping.

You are right, there have been many new types of PV's and improvements made in the last year or so. So much to choose from.

Hopefully that will get you started.

My ultimate plan for a tinker free system to keep me off analogs permanently is a nice variable voltage device, since the batteries will be bigger and last longer. I am planning to purchase an Odysseus (rebuildable atomiser with a tank attached) when they are back in stock. That will give me excellent battery life, with a tank that should hold me all day with no juice refills.

I've also found that batteries can not be stored forever. So your old 901s may not hold much of a charge anymore. My ego batteries are a year old (they sat around until i started vaping again a month ago) and they held a good charge at first, but I'm now recharging them twice as often as I was a month ago. 1 used to last me almost all day, now I'm going through 3 a day.

That's funny because the BB was introduced after the SB....good to see the SB still going strong though. I think if i decide to upgrade i may get that one to compliment my BB. Now on to finding some good prefilled cartos. I have read about SI, Smoketip, and Halo. Any Preferences from these 3 in terms of prefilled cartos only!

If I was you I would HATE messing around refilling cartomizers.
In fact, I am so lazy that I drip simply because I am too lazy for cartomizers.

I am going to strongly recommend getting a Reo of some kind.

You can fill it up with juice to last for days.
But you can also drip from the top anytime you want if you feel like using a different flavor.

I work from home and dripping is a piece of cake for me, so I use my Chucks all day long.
But when I am going out and don't want to carry around dripping bottles I grab my Reo mini to take instead.
