Hi I'm new here to the forum and today and I have been analog free for close to a month now. This is my second go at vaping, and things seem to be off to a good start. However, my first attempt at vaping seemed to be off to a good start as well. Unfortunately I gave up on vaping primarily due to sheer frustration from faulty devices, inconveniences of charging, and the unsupportive attitude of peers giving me crap for puffing on something that resembles an ink pen. So... here it goes, round two, wish me luck.

Hey there! Welcome to ECF!

I'm glad you're giving vaping another go! I fell off the wagon myself last year. And I hopped right back in!

So what kind of setup are you working with now? When did you last try vaping?

I can tell you that pretty much everything changed since I started. And lots of things have gotten much better over the last year!

Be sure to pop in and ask any questions you might have!!!

In the immortal words of Zen, "just vape it..." All kidding aside, everyone's journey is different. When I started vaping I almost went and got some smokes. My wife literally sat me at the kitchen table and said keep going till it goes away! It did and that was 395 days ago, you can do it!

Edit: just thought about the rest of your question. IMHO it's not about high end vs low end, it's about durability. I have a bunch of "high end" setups and love them but if all else fails (or when I can't be bothered with using a blow torch to get going) I also have some Vision Spinners with Vivi Nova Minis and some Kanger T3's that are perfectly decent for just vaping...

At the moment I'm pretty happy with my e-go t. I'm currently using a clearomizer, which in terms of simplicity and functionally, it seems to be good. I agree, things certainly have come a long way in the past year. I currently only have one battery though. So... would purchasing a higher end pv be worth the cost? Are they that much better than what I currently am using.

It's always good to have some backup batteries, mine seem to discharge at bad moments.

All the gear we get can help, but you don't have to spend a fortune. I have been pretty happy with picking up a little gear here and there as I learn about something different, trying it out, and learning about something else, and trying it out. All the gear I got is still useful, and as I've learned more, I can overcome some of the limitations in this or that item.

I guess I'm saying, "Heck yeah, get more gear." The tech is interesting and useful in our context, and the hobby helps to keep us a little busy while we change our habits.

Best wishes. You can do this.
