Ive used some boge cartos recently and there ok but average taste but a 5 pack lasting a week is ok to me. Ive heard the royalsmokers cartos will last much longer then the boge and its hard to get atomizers that give the right amount of vapor and last more then a week anyway.

Figure these are a good alternative if i get a week or 2 out of a pack id be happy. So if the cracks arent showing up for a week i dont think thats a major issue.

If you make sure you hold the base where the metal is and screw the only till they are nipped up enough to make good contact by turnig the battery - not the clearomizer itself they will last a little longer usually. Also when removing or install the driptip brace the base the same way to give it support. It's the rocking motion and twisting motion on the base which causes these to fracture so fast. I've been using 2 for nearly 4 weeks without a problem. Almost ready for another clean and burn. One works good the other one is outrageous.

I've been using clearomizer XLs exclusively in car and at work for about a month. Cleaning is more work than a standard carto. Other than breaking one of the ceramic cups I've had no other issues with tube cracking or leaks. I use eGO and 3.7v battery mods.

I quit standard cartos almost immediately because they all seemed to burn. I'd rather inhale burned tobacco than burned poly fill. I figured that was bad stuff.

My ultimate flavor and vape is still 5v dripping. But, for portable vaping, I've settled on these until something better comes along. I think its a matter of preference. They require a bit more on cleaning, but for me its worth it.

They're just making the Clearo's out of too thin a plastic. They stole the idea from modders on ECF cutting hypodermic syringes ends off and stuffing carto guts in the resultant clear tube. I've never heard of any modder's syringe carto cracking. It's because the syringe is made from with thicker plastic. Hear this Chinese copycats. . .USE THICKER PLASTIC WHEN MAKING CLEAR PLASTIC CARTO'S! Damn thieves can't even copy well. JMHO

The Clearomizers do have a better taste than the steel cartos, imo. But the steel cartos are definitely more durable. I always worry I am going to bend or crack the plastic tube off it's base, spilling juice in my pocket. With that said, if forced, I would still choose the clearomizer. But yeah, best use of the CE2 is the MAP....by far

True, everything two prior post said. But, I find it somewhat difficult to stealth vape with my MAP on my ProVari, even with a clear shorty DT. And, the MAP looks ridiculous on an eGo/Riva class batt. Which is an ideal unit for stealth vaping, even with a two inch XL Clearo attached. All of this is JMHO of course. But, I vaped my first Clearo for more than a month, filling 3 times a day, on a 650 mAh Riva w/cone. Possibly the cone helps protect the Clearo, but prolly not much. I think the Vaping population needs the Clearo/eGo class setup. Hell, they sell the damned Clearo's now for .80 per piece wholesale. Throw another nickel's worth of plastic in the damn things and get um right. The XL Carto juice volume, and a batt that lasts the drive to/from work, two smoke breaks, and lunch. That's prolly what 90% of the working vaping population could get by with. Gets rid of drip'n'drive, carrying spares, (juice and batts). Course, if you want to haul all that crap, anybodies free to do so. But, dollars to doughnuts, most adults don't wanna. I'll save all the exotica for when I get home, or for nights out at the clubs. I'm talking about just getting through the work day, every day, forever. JMHO

Very true, I've been using the same syringe tubes for months on end. The problem is that people would complain their cone doesn't fit if they used thicker plastic. Doesn't both me but would others.

Clearomizers were a waste for me.
Cracks & leaks...they ...... me off.
The MAP Tank from COV is the way to go if you want to use the CE2 successfully.

I'm afraid I have to agree with you AG.Just wish I could use the innerds in the MAP Tank

well ordered 500 of the steel cartos to begin with see how they go and then ill get some clear carts later down the track. Just got the standard not the xl think they will be ok will be interesting to see how long they last. A month for 1 is ages i cant get attys to last 2 weeks. figure for customers cartos esp these guys increase the chances of regular folk staying off the ciggies.

The base of the clearomizer is too fragile. last night during a refill, the whole base fell through leaving almost 2ml of e-liquid all over my hands, it was only a few days old and I take great care handling these things.

If you do get the clearomizers:

1) Secure the base with a Cable Tie or strong tape (have yet to try this though).
2) Don't use acidic juices
3) Always refill the carto on a flat surface to avoid excess stress to the base
4) Don't over-tighten the carto on your ecig

As I mentioned in another thread, RS need to assess and redesign the clearomizers. My suggestion is to make most of the outer casing from metal, with a small plastic window on one side.

I tend to agree on a sight glass set up.The shame is these things vape great !! But it's a bit tiresome the way certain liquids destroy the tubes in short order, and they seem prone to leakage at the base.I've been putting a little sealant around the base, but that won't stop the tube from getting brittle and cracking.
I bought 25 of these thing, and I guess I'll end up buying some 3ml syringes so I can keep using the internals. So far,I have to give it to the eGo tanks. They seem to be less hassle, but flavor is diminished somewhat :(

I love the clearos but the tube has been an issue for me also, but in a different way. My wife tends to get a little over zealous when putting them on the battery. She's twisted the tube on the base and broke the wire on two now. She's over there asking..."Is this thing supposed to keep turning?" It's kinda my fault and I've since shown her how to grip it down where the tube covers the base and only turn it till it's snug.

Has anyone bought the clearomizer replacement tubes from gotvapes? Are they thicker like a syringe or are they just the same wimpy ones?
