Did they possibly revise the rsst? The one i got from hosier vaper doesn't come completly apart.the screw(with spring) just spins.i took it apart from the bottom up and the center screw wont come out of the tube, top assembly.there is a white bushing pressed onto the 'tank' end of the screw and it simply spins.should i force this bushing off? The screw doesn't thread to anything in the tube.
I suck at explaining things.hope that makes sense?

Might just be a tight fit. There are two nylon washers... one at the bottom, pressed into the base, and up top. The top washer is loose.. it might just be stuck in there pretty good.
The bottom washer is not pressed into the base. The washer is pressed onto the bottom of the screw.perhaps it is defective?

Ok,to recap i have an rsst rba that will not come completely apart.basically,i can take the bottom plate(with the 510 threading) and the tank off and that is it.the center screw, tube and top plate will not come apart.
Don't get me wrong,i can unscrew the threaded tube from the top plate but the nylon? Bushing at the end of the screw will not come off of the screw.i've tried holding the bushing with pliers but the screw just spins in the bushing.i believe the unit is defective but would like some feedback from someone with more experience than myself.this is my first genny and all the pics i've seen on the web show it breaking down completely.
Should i just chaulk it up as a P.O.S and order a new one? I'mm pretty sure if i tear the bottom bushing off it will be rendered useless.
Thanks

The nylon bushing has inner threads into which the center post screws, so if you can see the post spinning inside the nylon bushing and the the bushing itself is NOT spinning, then the nylon threads are stripped and you're SOL. However, if both the nylon AND the screw are spinning togther, you might have a shot at getting the sucker apart.

Of course if the threads are stripped there shouldn't be anything holding the centerpost in place and it should come out.
Thats what i was thinking but nylon or whatever the material is doesn't appear to act that way.what i ended up doing was thread the screw in deeper and then back it out, sort of a rethread i suppose and i did get the screw to remove.it was loaded with the 'nylon' which i cleaned off and re-assembled.don't know how long the screw will stay in place, but,so far it seems to be holding tension on the spring.i'll keep my fingers crossed but i don't expect it to last to long.maybe i can get a replacement nut/bushing somewhere.
thanks for the input
