I am really glad to hear all the positive reviews on these things. I really haven't found anything that rivals my Igo L at this time. I do like the aga t but it just is too picky. I love the idea of a cup with a plastic bottom so I dont have to worry, and that insulator. It is one of the few RBAs that sounds good right out of the box.

Thats going to depend on your wick...i rolled a fatty straw that just fit in the wick hole..wrapped 5/4 with 32 for 2.0...cooking with 8 watts..and it has no problem keeping up....but i tip a bit to help.

No problem here. I have about a 1/8" wick. 400 mesh. 4/3 wraps of 28ga kanthal. .9 ohms. It's hanging in there.

Exact same setup..no problems at all. Love it!

From what I hear the only reason the insulator is there is because there was an error in manufacturing and smok just threw another piece of metal in there instead of throwing away the decks.

That was an early rumor and I haven't seen any confirmation of it. To me it seems unlikely they would create an insulated wick hole that wasn't in the original design because of a manufacturing error. They would more likely just make a sleeve to make up the size difference and not bother with the delrin (or whatever it is) insert between the two metal surfaces, not to mention making sure the metal doesn't touch and provides the insulation.
