This has caught my interest in the recent past. I'll have to keep my eye out for a clone to try first. Thing is expensive... and ugly as sin
Indeed it is, in both categories. Nonetheless, it is still the closest I have personally come to a dripper. Granted, I haven't experienced a Rose, a Fogger or the latest Aether Tech rta (forget its name atm) so there might be something better out there.
The 3d seems to be a love it or hate it device....talked to some who rave about it and others seem to loathe it....haven't tried one yet, can't afford a good one, and a cheaper clone is just asking for trouble, but I love the idea of it
I'm using a Sunbox E7 right now with an Origen V2 that has a BF 510 post installed. It's roughly the same size as my REO but I can regulate the wattage as it's a DNA 30 device. Origen is built with dual coils and comes in right at .5ohms. It's what I was looking for when I wanted the flavor and vapor production of a dripper without the bottle.
You ain't getting off that easy...
A Reo Grand - the "big one" - is the size of a business card and holds 6 mls. How much smaller do you want?

If you like the idea of the Big Dripper, you might want to check out the Ehpro Pontus. Same design concept as the big dripper and it's less than half the price. It's essentially a TOBH deck with a tank on top. Push the drip tip to squirt juice on your wick and coil

That is small, ill give you that! I'm just not super pumped with the bottom feed idea. Ones i've used always seem "half finished" like a design that someone took 85% of the way there and just went... "Ok, i have no time to machine/mold parts so stick a plastic juice bottle on the bottom and give it a squeeze when you want some juice." The back and forth suction, the crud off the coils getting sucked back into your bottle (always see this with my buddy's bottom feeders) and the plastic bottles/tubing in general (i dont even vape juice that comes in plastic any more - nor use it in food storage etc. i'm one of those freaks, i know i know... i vape lol)... i feel like in a year or two someone will design something better, completely stainless/glass in a small (as your mini) design.

Ok, i think i might have to track one of those down! I bet it would even fit on top of some of my other atomizers... might be on to something here. The only thing that worries me is the size of the "drip holes" in the top deck. They seem huge... some people say it doesnt leak with 50/50... some are saying use high VG.
Ok... now where to buy one that has them in stock...

Saw that... and at VaporDNA. I'll flip a coin during lunch and see if i order it lol. I'm already thinking of ways i want to mod it, which is not good...
Drill out air holes to cyclops style... fiddle with that drip hole size and see if it can fun higher PG juices.
Oh man those FT ones don't look too... "well made" lol. That said... please let us know how they perform!
Dude, FlashEVapor v3. A dripper with a tank on top. It uses braided cotton or mesh to feed the "dripper," section.
EDIT: The main problem in trying to find a tank which properly emulates a dripper is one of distance. On a dripper, your mouthpiece is pretty much directly on top of your coils. On a tank, the mouthpiece is typically 1-2" away. As the vapor produced from your coils travels this distance, it is allowed time to cool.
Plenty of tanks have airflow comparable to drippers. If not, you can always drill. In trying to accurately emulate the dripper experience, "with a tank," keep in mind that their are multiple variables to consider. If you really want the full experience, copious amounts of warm, dense flavor, I think you're gonna want to find something where the coils sit as close to the mouthpiece as possible. For that, I'd probably recommend a genny.
Take a look around, people say genny's are dead, but they're not. Loads of innovation has taken place since the RSST. Check out something like the BF-99. Or, if you're looking to go the clone route, even something like a Kraken or Prometheus can give you a great experience. SS Rope with a cotton topper.. mmmmmm.

I don't know why they didn't just make a cyclops air hole myself. That's the first thing I said to myself when I looked at it too, "Gotta see if I can fix the airholes".
Most likely if i get a genny. I'm a dripper guy first and foremost... i can't justify $160 on a authentic genny. Honestly the main reason i havent just picked up a cheap Kraken clone is bc of the SS rope and mesh. I'm VERY hesitant to vape on the stuff... and i've heard such mixed things about cotton U-wick set ups on them. Some say it's identical to their drippers but they just tilt every so often (like an old school clearo) to keep the wicks wet. Others say they'll leak all over the place with cotton and that they dont wick.

Ok, just checked out the BF-99 (never heard about it before now) and that looks amazing! (Mayyyybe a little light on the air flow (those holes in the ceramic deck are TINY!) But that is some real innovation happening right there! A slick new genny in just about a normal dripper size. AND it's actually pretty! lol Too bad it's $$$

How difficult was that? What dremel bit did you use? I'm so ... annoyed with those stupid blocks. I just want to center-build but nooooo! lol
I don't have many attachments for my dremel, just what came with it when I bought it. I used a grey colored grinding wheel to get them off and then a sanding barrel to finish it up. Not the prettiest but who's going to see it except for me.

Dont you have how off-center builds in the Tobh wick all weird from the "short side" of the wick vs the "long side". I'll have to do that at some point.
