No, it's a simple 2 post base (like an IGO-L). The "top cap" has 2 extra holes that you "plug" with feeder wicks, then a tank goes on top. Top cap is only sealed with o-rings to the base (so it pops off like a dripper), and the tank is screwed into the top cap. So not like a Kayfun because you can access the coil/wick at anytime (without draining tank), and no special fill method needed as you just unscrew the tank while upside down and fill it with any bottle.

Then, it also has just a dripper top cap that you can use and it's exactly a dripper.

Crap... even with pics i'm still struggling to figure it out! lol

Ok... so the deck is a normal 2 post deck that screws down onto the 510 connector... but there is another wick that goes into a tank... that wick (looks like its set in a U) sits, inverted, directly above the primary wick/coil setup? And this just constantly weeps/leaks juice onto the coil/wick at a steady rate?

yes, regular deck. 1 wick though the coil as normal.

Top cap needs 2 separate feeder wicks that block the holes between tank and base. I've set up a new tank before, connected top cap and it didn't get the bottom of the feeder wicks wet after a few hours sitting. BUT, when you connect to the base and take a draw, juice begins to flow down the feeder wicks onto the coil wick keeping it saturated.

so 3 wicks in total, only travels down the feeder when you draw (at low ohms when I chain vape, I occasionally block the air hole and take a draw without using the battery. This forces juice down the feeders)

Ahh ok... make much more sense now! Thanks!

RSST my friend is your ticket to paradise. Not as expensive as The Big Dripper, but hits just as hard as my drippers....Flavor is Top Notch. You can get them for just a couple bucks over 20 to the door. Enjoy.

True, they are dirt cheap. And all i'd need to do is drill out the tiny air hole.... BUT... for $5 or so extra (sales everywhere) i can have a Kraken. Annnnd for $10 more than that, one of the brand new Sat22 clones. That's likely where i think i'm heading at this point.

There was one I was reading about that held 4 ml, can't remember the name maybe someone else does?

I ended up grabbing the new Pontus dripper w/ tank system. Holds 3.8 mL IIRC. I'll throw up a review once i get it in and spend some time with it.

Other than that and the Bid Dripper (which might be in jeopardy with the modder being arrested and all lol) i think us RDA fans will have some options for out and and about without a bottle of juice.

two words- big buddha.
yes its big, and easily modified for a much airier draw, if your not satisfied with the already airiness of the device, and it holds juice for the WHOLE day. I have had really good luck with it. hardly any leaking issues. my favorite tank by far. it's a flavor powerhouse.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Big Buddha. I'll def pick one up when i get a 26650 mod.

you guys are silly!

was mentioned several times.. but no! not interested.. why? because once you get one.. you will understand! bottom feeders! reo or similar. I have a new Erlkonigin RTA that I LOVE for raw flavor.. and pretty airy too.. but.. I also use a REO Grand every day. it is a dripper you only have to squeeze to feed. you have to find someone and try it... then decide.. but Im telling ya.. its a dripper experience without the hassle.. and its mech. absolutely elegant with its simplicity! I have a order in with chowderhead for a Magma, but the RM2 is amazing!

Lol i've listened! Just not my thang. I've used many a bottom feed and do not care for their set up and use (i could go into a bunch of my BF pet peeves but i'll save everyone lol). Just my personal pref to use a tube, mech mod or small VV/VW. The Erlkonigin is nice and airy but no RDA-esq draw. Flavor is good but it still hits like a drilled out Kayfun... in my opinion of course.

I love my Magma, probably the best flavor out there for a regular RDA (currently). The RM2 is a mini flavor beast, i'll give you that. However, i can't take big old, full lung inhales off that unless i constantly squonk... again, BF's... not my thing personally.

The Pontus looks to be even more elegant in it's simplicity and it accomplishes exactly the same thing as a BF mod, no? It has some benifits that a BF does not have but no negatives, that i can think of really. It's above the build acting as the top cap of the atty. Gravity is on our side. Fill, use, maintenence and cleaning is much, much easier. It uses all stainless and quartz glass. So no plastic bottles/tubing. This wont matter to everyone but i wont even vape juice that comes in plastic. Only negatives i can think of are that the tank is more fragile and well, that's it lol.

sorry to hijack a bit here but you made a point that I always thought but never asked...
I love my origen v2 as I just have to drip every hour or two. I run dual coils at .6 ohms. on a reo how ofted will I need to squonk? for me squonking and dripping is almost the same hassle as I mostly sit on my desk with the bottle there so...

I used to drip every 10 vapes before now every 50, how does it compare to a reo?

well.. considering squonking is a simple press of the bottle for 3-4 secs.. I squonk like every 2-3 pulls.. because Im paranoid of dry hits...depends on the wicking etc. as I mentioned, I have a BF modded Magma coming.. dont expect to have to squonk very often with that.. as it has deep wells too..

Yeah vaping is like women... (or men, your pref) we all have diff tastes :p

I too have had to squonk every 2-4 pulls depending on my friends' builds. Some builds and tiny BF attys will force you to squonk every or every other hit as well. Really dependent on build and atty wick allowances.

XBarbarian I agree with everything you posted +1 for you :)
Any one who tries to find a better vape Than a Reo and isn't using a dripper is SOL IMO
O.P. to me you like a dog chasing it's tail a lot of running but never going to get any were again IMO
