It's all marketing, cloud chasers looking for that edge, mod collectors ( like myself) looking for something different.......And in general these companies getting us to buy something new by promising us something" better" .......I personally like buying new mods but realistically most of the hype is pure BS ( power and features that we'll never use)

I have a crazy question ( aside of battery life potential) who really vapes over 100, never mind 200 watts?
"Who really vapes over 15/30/50 watts" was a common question not so long ago. I don't vape over 100w but there are those that do.

Probably the folks buying those 12 coil taking tanks rated to 200W who have every intention of vaping them the way "they were designed to be used", if you believe the recommended wattage printed on the coil head.

i'm finding the T12 coil best at 130-160 watts. I couldn't imagine trying to vape 350 on it

Yup. When I started vaping you couldn't go over about 15 watts regulated and anyone who wanted to was obviously cloud chasing. Can anyone today imagine cloud chasing at 20 watts?

We propably finally have reached the end of what the vast mayority of vapers see as "needed", even just for ....s and giggles. Even all the youtube salesmen are dumbfolded and are all like..."I dont need that much power" and "who vapes like that?"

The only way to vape at 500W is to make even bigger devices and bigger attys. Something that takes 6 18650s and a 50mm atty. Yeah, I am not going to carry around a brick like that. Most wont.
The current max wattage mods are already overpowered as is. I cant imagine a lot of people enjoy vaping at 300W, doing half second pulls of scalding hot vapor.

If your looking for a great RTA for flavor chasing I would recommend an OBS Engine for dual coil or an OBS Engine Nano for single coil.

I have an Ijoy Maxo. I don't use it at more than 150watts. It is the only mod I have that will go all day without changing batteries.

I have several dual coil (waiting for a 23 mm single coil which I'm sure they'll get to) and find it a fantastic tank. Just rewicked two of them that are my ADV's a few minutes ago. Easy as can be to work on.
