Hey everybody!

So I'm enjoying the tanks that I have (Atlantis, Billow, and Kanger SubTank) but none of them recommend, or seem to be very good with, high VG liquids. I've heard that the Lemo Drop is supposed to be really good with high and max VG liquids, but I'm having trouble finding one at my local stores. The reason why I mention that is that I like to actually take a look at what I'm buying, feel it out, that kind of thing. I'm hoping that there are other tanks out there that are capable of doing the same thing that I can actually take a look at.

Does anyone here have experience with using the Lemo Drop, or any other rta with a high VG to PG ratio liquid? If so, what would you recommend? If there's a fair amount of positive feedback, then I may end up just biting the bullet and buying the Drop online, but like I said, if possible I'd prefer to actually feel it. A lot of the local stores are really knowledgeable, but it seems like there are new RTAs coming out every day.

Thanks for any help.

I run 100%VG in all my atty's , Rose V2's , Aqua V2 , Heron clone , but as Roxy said you're not likely to find these locally . Out of the atty's I have the Rose V2's probably have the most capability in regards to using high VG juice by way of it's design , having juice flow control goes a long ways in regulating the vape with thicker liquids . There is a learning curve as far as building a Rose but they're worth it .

I run 70 & 80% vg juices in the Subtank without issue.

Dual twisted 30g nickel, 7 wraps, 3mm ID, inverted coil, wicked with KGD.

Not sure why I put the coil in upside down. Saw the stock coil like that and for whatever reason, ended up doing it like that. It isn't affecting the vape in any adverse way.

I took a 3/8" wide piece of KGD, removed the backing on both sides, folded it in half and gently rolled it up. Then just cut it right where the threads for the barrel are and fluffed the ends up.

Placed the barrel over the coil and wick (it kind of folded the wick down) and tightened it. I didn't touch the cotton. Didn't try to stuff it down or move it away from the juice channel. Just placed the barrel over it and screwed it down.

My settings. Resistance is actually reading 0.10Ω this morning.

My lemon drop is in constant use. actually think I may prefer it over the lemo 2. I'm not max VG but maybe 80/20

I must of have "noobie's luck" as I use ~100% VG in my tanks, I just make sure the juice channels are open. 28AWG on both the Lemo2 and STM. I just loaded a 7 wrap on the STM this afternoon - 0.137ohms. Then again I use mostly unflavored and sometimes have been known to add up to 10% H2O to thin the juice down.

Glad to hear you've had success. Just note that 100% VG and 90% VG 10 % H2O are not even remotely related when it comes to talking about wicking. 10% H2O will result in a juice less viscous than 50/50 PG/VG. The stock STM RBA section sucks at wicking very high VG juices that aren't thinned. The juice channels are just way too small. I mention this in case someone else tries to duplicate wicking very thick juice in a STM. If the juice channels haven't been enlarged (a mill or a dremel do a fine job), chain vapers will be wondering what they're doing wrong lol.

While I'll admit to adding H2O to many of my bottles to allow the juice to wick better, recently with both a unmodified STM and STM clone vaped a tank or more of pure 100% (right out of the vendor bottle) juice without any issues. (@ 380-460F)

So if a complete noob like myself can do it, anyone can.

I use 5-7 wraps of 28AWG, +3mm ID, drench the coil+wick in juice and use a toothpick or tweezers to clear the two juice channels creating what others call a "well".

Then again, all my STM builds are NI200 for TC. I may not run into the same issues as others because of the TC and I may not fire the coil as long or with the same power/temperature as others do.

IMHO: if you have issues with PG AND good/proper wicking I can't think of any reason not to add 5-10% H2O. The water will reduce your "cloud" a whole whooping 5-10% but will mix with whatever added flavor better than VG and as an added bonus (again IMHO) may help carry the nicotine better than the VG, counter acting the actual diluting.
