Rubbing alcohol?

I have seen several post on another forum from people saying they clean their attys in rubbing alcohol or mouthwash, but on this forum I've only seen vodka/puregrain and water mentioned.

Is rubbing alcohol OK, or is it dangerous because of whatever they add to it to make it undrinkable?

If it makes a difference, I am currently using whatever atty comes from the v-starter kits from volcanoecigs.com but have just ordered a Joye 510

First I don't recommend cleaning atomizers unless there is a drop in perforumance and then only with vodka - something that is ok for human consumption and/or inhalation.

That is not true for rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol. I know that is it used throughout the computer industry for cleaning contacts and other things but most don't end up being used for human consumption.
