To AK Blues B Barrett and DC. DC you will be the best water boy...ever,

Can't hardly wait, so great to be out of lockdown and back to normal, (apart from international travel)

Hope I have started this thread in the correct place, apologies class wife if I haven't! Please can you move if you need to.

Gawds, so excited to get RUGBY back again, apart from my grandies, the 2nd most missed thing!

It sure feels great to know we are Covid19 free, lets hope the rest of the planet can catch up but not looking too good ATM.
We really did dodge a bullet here, our best defence is our (closed) borders and our geography, lets hope we stay this virus free way. cheers and GO THE BLUES!

@Fredman1
@AngeNZ
@Aliraonz

and EVERY Kiwi on here, well done New Zealand.

OMG I will never sleep tonight, RUGBY is back in town.......Yes Sir ree Bob! WoW, a brand new game, real people in the stands lol. I loved it, really feel like part of my dna is missing when rugbys not around HA!

Tonights match was from Forsyth Barr Stadium, Dunedin, a full house.

CHIEFS v HIGHLANDERS

Great to see many old faces around, likewise every seat full and a rather excited crowd after 80 days without a game.
A TON of referee's focus on the breakdown, 30 penalties and plenty of whistle blowing going on to interrupt the flow. So much to write about but take too long here......Even a drop goal from EACH side, WOW. Nailbiting game,

Full time score HIGHLANDERS 28 CHIEFS 27.

next game tomorrow, Go the Blues.

Yeah agreed. It'll be good to see what can be done with them rather haphazard Aussies. Rennie has a good rugby brain, and he knows how bring a team together. Same with Rassie over there in SA. And over here...I wonder if Fozzy can take them to the next level, cause that's what the AB need to do to keep their noses ahead.
Only time will tell I guess.

Hi Fredman1, yes Rassie is awesome, I soo miss Bokks rugby, and OZ rugby too. Both our old foes! I have Spent more time in WEST Africa than South AF, Ivory Coast, mainly Abidjan and Sierra Leone, uhumm only found rugby more known (naturally)in Sth AF, but yeah love any country that gets behind their national Rugga team. I remember years ago my Heart Throb at the time in Sth AF Rugga ...PERCY!!!, Apart from looking cool that man dropped some amazing bombs, Kudos Mr Montgomery(sp)

Anyway so hyped for CANES vs you know who tomorrow...LOL:banana::banana::banana:. OMG there will be NO fabulous Barrett boys for you Fredman, Auckland has claimed BB and the other two are both out with injury:(. However...Sam Whitelock is no shrinking violet and can't think of a better replacement lock:D. he will do great, the work horse that he is!
ANYWAY. TONIGHT WAS...

THANKS BB for your crucial role tonight:banana::banana::banana:

BLUES 24 V CHIEFS 12 .

Today's (Sunday 28th June) game is from a wet Christchurch. CRUSADERS V CHIEFS.

HALF TIME SCORE CRUSADERS 10 CHIEFS 3.

First half a real battle, good attacking from Chiefs and good attack/defence from Crusaders. Have to say CRUS. showing some discipline issues here. So who will come out 2nd half both barrels blazing?
