20130925_181225(1).jpgSo here I have two kanger mt3s. I went to refill the one on the left and the coil is stuck in the tank; the onky thing that came unscrewed was the "collar." The one on the right, the well-behaved tank, is there for illustrative purposes only in case my terminology is incorrect, so you can still figure out what I'm talking about.
If I yank on the coil thingy with a pliers to try to pop it out of the tank will it still work? Not that it's doing me any good now...

I wonder why this happened. I remember having a hard time putting the coil end in the tank, there was like some plastic tubing piece in the center hole which didn't appear in the good tank.

Anyway should I just pitch it? Generally if I come across any repairs that can't be taken care of with a butter knife I deem them out of my skill set.

I recognize the MT3S, but not the horns, or wings ;)

Yeah, a pair of pliers, a good yank, and it should come out.

If I was you, I'd want to know what went wrong with it.

When I edited my photo I noticed a fun little "stickers" option. Obviously I had some fun with it!

I am curious about what went wrong with it. However with me operator error is always a strong possibility. That beiing said, my vaping motto is K.I.S.S. so pretty much everything I use has to be idiot proof to begin with.

It sounds to me like either the shaft on that head is slightly bigger than it should be or the tube it fits into is slightly smaller. Just pull that one out with some pliers (needle nose would probably work best) and then try a new head in that tank. If the problem persists then the tank is the problem. If the problem goes away then it was just that head.

Yank out the old coil with a pair of pliers and fish out the piece of plastic and everything should be good.
