i have a ruleaux dna 200 i have used forever, and the other day i picked it up and put fully charged batteries in it and it wouldnt turn on. It will turn on if i hold the fire button but the battery meter reads nothing, and it will immediately turn off if i stop pressing the fire button. it will turn on if i plug it in but it still reads nothing. i have torn the mod apart and all of the connections and wires are in good condition. I am wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue before? any help would be appreciated.

i'm going to bet, that if you look in EScribe's Device Monitor, you will see incorrect cell voltages being read for all 3 cells. if a new set of cells does not fix the problem, most likely the board is bad. one way to check if the analog front end (cell monitoring/balancing IC) went out is to put the mod in "power supply" mode (a battery option located in EScribe). if the mod vapes in PS mode, the board needs to be replaced (9 times out 10 this is the case). DO NOT run/vape the board in "power supply" mode as a fix to the problem. there is NO cell monitoring/protection when in that mode. just use that mode as a testing tool.
