I just received my second round V1 91% a couple of days ago and got it running great with a micro coil and organic cotton. It is a great vape, I feel like I get more vapor volume than a SSM genny with similar flavor (Actually, with the cotton, I think the flavor is slightly better than the mesh).

The clear tank insert arrived broken so I am hoping the vendor will replace it, if not I can always get an M tank.

Now to my question: the 510 drip tip adapter insert that came with it only fits one of my drip tips. All of my Cherry Vape mings (resin and steel) are too large. I had a cheap ming style from another store that fit after i switched out the O ring.

Has anyone else had this problem or did I get a defective part, also has anyone had any success with widening the adapter using some sandpaper or any other method?

You don't say if the tips will insert into the adapter up to the o-ring, or if the tips themselves will not insert into the adapter. Do you happen to have a caliper or micrometer? If not, you really don't know which part has an out-of-spec diameter.
With a dial or digital caliper, you can measure the DT outside main and o-ring groove diameter, and the DT adapter inside diameter. Aside from the main ID and OD, the o-ring groove diameter and the o-ring thickness itself will affect fit.

I have 3 R91s available for measurement - 1 of which I just received. The smallest measures 8.52mm (0.336") for the DT adapter ID.
From a selection of SS, resin, Pyrex/SS & anodized aluminum tips (no Cherry brand) the largest has a measured OD of a 8.46mm (0.334").
That makes for a clearance, with the absolute tightest fitting combination, of 0.06mm (0.002")... which is a very tight fit with the o-ring, but it still fits.

A 5/16" (.312") wooden dowel, wrapped with a few layers of sandpaper and chucked up in a drill motor would allow you to remove a few thousands from the adapter... or chucking up the DTs in the drill for sanding would allow same.

Thanks for the awesome response! Most drip tips will not insert at all, the cheap one i was able to get it would insert up to the o-ring but I had to switch to a smaller o-ring to get it to fit in.

I will need to get some calipers to check with width. Thank you for your measurements, once I do that I will make the adjustment to the adapter if necessary. I am not sure it is worth it sending it back since it is doubtful the vendor has spare parts...

And even if someone did have spares, there's no guarantee they will be bigger, unless you can get them to measure a few... and inversely, measure drip tips for you.

A good digital (or back in the good ol' days a dial, and before that a vernier) caliper seems to be almost indispensable in the RBA/RTA/RDA vaping world. You don't need super accuracy, so a caliper that's reasonably accurate to .001" +/- .0005" will be plenty.

Toss up a WTB in the classies forum... maybe someone has one that has no intention of ever using a 510 drip tip. ;)
