Well after digging around here and there out on the net I came to find out that the original kayfun and Russian drip tip threads were "701 threaded". So I guess at one time this kind of connection was more prevalent? Well I'd wanted something a little classier for my Russian 91 than the drip tip adapter, nothing but slim drip tips really would fit it nicely and I've been preferring larger width drip tips lately which sit nice on my KFL+ v2 but look rather silly on my original Russian 91.
So I started looking for 701 thread drip tips and saw hints of them existing but I couldn't find anything close, not in the US, let alone Canada. But I ran across a link to a German store which had stainless ones. I really don't like metal tips, up here in the great white north they're rather uncomfortable when it's cold out (and the lip crusties on metal tips is kinda gross) so I've been a fan of the plastic/delrin tips since I'd started vaping. Anyway! I was in luck though as I found delrin ones on that German site as well.
So for 0.50 euros each I picked two of them. 15.00 Euros shipping. ROFL!! But you know what, I ordered these on Friday around noon and they showed up at my door today by Fedex (4 days, two of them weekend). For that much in shipping costs from a US vendor I'd have to wait a week or more.
Anyway I just thought I'd show what I'd purchased, if anyone knew that these existed domestically I would be interested to know where.

I guess this isn't really a question or a PSA. Just thought I'd comment on something I didn't know existed but I'm glad it does.
