OK I am so darned confused. I am aware the Russian was a "Clone" of the kayfun. Beyond that everything seems to overlap. I see Kayfun, Kayfun lite, Kayfun ES, Russian, Russian 91, Black Russian. Throw a few more in the mix. Here are the features as I understand them. If anyone can make a model sense out of this please do so.

Standard air flow
Adjustable airflow
Side fill (Check valve?)
Bottom fill
Clear center section
All clear tank
Steel center section
510 removable drip tip
Fixed drip tip
Various finishes from bright, dull, sand blast

Mix and match any of the above.

Yes it gets worse:

$21.01 Custom Kayfun Top Cap Rebuildable Atomizer - black / 4.5ml / without drip tip at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Oh ya this one too:

$12.87 Kayfun Lite Styled Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

What really irritates me is the vendors don't really differentiate between the different options and you must guess from pictures assuming they are inclusive and accurate. FRUSTRATED!

I think you'll be happier with a Kayfun with adjustable airflow. I have the 3.1 and really like it. I assume U know how to wrap your own coils. I just use 28g around a 3/32 drill bit with cotton wicking. Once U figure them out and become comfortable with it, it'll be your go to device.

Kayfun 3.1 comes with adjustable airflow and collector cup
Kayfun 3.1 ES comes with adjustable airflow, collector cup, and filling valve
Kayfun Lite has fixed airflow, no collector cup, and no filling valve
Kayfun Lite + has adjustable airflow but no collector cup or filling valve

The Russian is essentially the same thing as a 3.1 ES. The 91 is the same as the Lite +. From what I can tell the "Black Russian" is just another clone that comes in a black box and uses black O-rings. The O-rings are supposed to fit better and be less prone to coming loose.

Not a fan of the all-clear ones.

The 3.1 is nice but it’s heavy and the side fill drives me crazy. My Russian air flow is just a little short of where I want it and it slowly leaks out the fill hole. The Kayfun Lite Plus V2 is a good balance for me. I like the size, I want the adjustable air and the o-ring on the bottom fill screw. It also has a better design for the o-ring for the chimney, it stays put. It doesn’t have the adjustable center pin but that doesn’t seem to be a problem for me on a provari or the mechs I have. All of them have exchangeable windows or metal center pieces and you can nano them so that does not matter to me.

Hope this helps.

Not all of them do.

The Kayfun M series are all clear plastic. Most clone makers do not include the SS parts because that would essentially require packing 2 nearly complete Kayfuns in 1 box.

I agree the side fill has been a problem with leaks. I plugged it and no leaks. Wish it had a check valve or a screw. I had a air hole leak on a Russian. Turned out to be a bad tank gasket. Replace them and see what happens.
