Hey everyone

Last week i received an order from heavengifts (ruyan direct) this order consisted of some spare parts and 3 bottles of juice. The Kent and Flue Cured flavors i ordered were fantastic and i had no issue with them

However upon tasting the french pipe i very strongly did not like it. I sent them a message thanking them for the order and the nice parts and asking a question about the French pipe flavor:

"Your message:
Thank you again for your prompt and accurate delivery of my order. The parts are all working fine. As for the juice, the Kent flavour is absolutely fantastic! And the flue cured tobacco is also quite nice. But there is something very strange with my french pipe flavour, it tasted mouldy. I found this one quite unpleasent to the point where i think it may have been contaminated by something or was a bad batch. Do you think this is just my personal taste or is there a possibility that there was a defect in the product. Otherwise I am completly satisfied with my order. Thanks heaps Calum"

After this i had a good look around the forums about the french pipe flavor and i found that many other users had a similar experience from various different suppliers which lead me to believe it was my personal taste that didn't agree with the juice and not any issue with the product.

They just sent me a messege back

"Hi Calum,
We are very sorry for the way the French piple flavored e-juice made you feel. We hope there wasn't anything wrong with it. Please don't use it. We just refunded you for this bottle of e-juice. Please check it in your PayPal account.
And, could you please return the unused portion of that bottle to us for further test? We still haven't received any similar report about French pipe e-juice from others, and we tested the same batch of French pipe e-juice by ourselves but didn't find the same problem. We need to send back the e-juice to the factory to analyze it.
If you still have any question or problem, please write email to heaven_gifts@yahoo.com.cn to get faster response.
Sorry again for the problem.
Yours sincerely,
Heaven Gifts"

Surely enough i checked my pay pal and i was fully refunded for the product. I sent them this messege.

"ear Heaven gifts,

I'm sorry for the inconveniance, but there was no need for the refund of my purchase. Upon talking to other people on the internet i am confident that i did not receive a bad bottle of juice. I've come to understand that the flavor is very strong and is not to many peoples personal taste. I have spoken to a few people that really like the flavor and a few that have had a similar experience to myself. I do not think that it would be necessary for me to send the bottle back and you also did not need to refund me the money for a flavor I simply did not like.

In order to fix this problem I am very happy to transfer the money you sent me back to you. Please send me some instructions as how i can do this

Yours sincerely

Calum."

They were quick and fantastic with the response and i am really pleased to see the offer for a refund and their concern about the product allthough not nessicery in this case.

There are people on the forum that choose the higher prices of local suppliers as they are worried about the customer service of the Chinese suppliers. Anyway i thought i would let you all know about this and i will post their response when i receive it.

Wow, that is a lot different than the response Robert supposedly received. Check out his ordeal. I'm not sure Robert is 100% sane though. We'll see.

Ruyan Direct Returns Money but dosen't care if my juice taste like poison!?

Either way, this was definitely a very awesome way of handling things and I'm glad to see it.

That guy is a complete ****, he didn't like the juice he complained and they gave him his money back!

I have flavors I don't like doesn't mean that I'm going to start a thread slating companys because things taste different to me.

RD is 100% legit with great prices + service, thats why I am willing to wait for something to come from china instead of down the country.

I prefer to support our economy in the process. people stateside gotta eat, too. i have been known to be called a jingoist, and maybe i am, (to me, that's a compliment) but i prefer at least some of the money stay here and help my fellow countrymen out.

the rockymountainvapor.com guys offer prices insignificantly higher than eastmall or ruyandirect, and he is my northern neighbor. his 510 atomizers are 8 bucks, where ruyan direct wants 7.50 for em. and rockymountainvapor has free shipping. arrives in two days. he carries a good amount of flavors, albeit 30ml sizes only, but at 15 bucks, free shipping... c'mon!

why not just look around and see if someone closer to home offers anything CLOSE to what china can offer? if and when they shut down american owned businesses that sell our goods, i will move to shopping from china. not before. until then, phil at e-smokeytreats.com, chris at myfreedomsmokes.com, and dave at rockymountainvapor.com, you have my business and happy to do it.

You're right about Rocky Mountain Vapor, his prices are what other US suppliers are going to have to match/beat and certainly for small orders when you add shipping costs into the price you can't get a better deal from China. Healthcabin has 510 starter kits for $35 and if you're just ordering one you'll still get it cheaper from Rocky Mountain Vapor.

This whole issue is the neverending walmart/mom&pop argument on an international scale. Every dollar I save by buying from China is a dollar I can spend somewhere else. Especially when we're saving money on staples (and I make no apologies, smoking wasn't a luxury for me and vaping isn't a luxury now) that money saved becomes money that can be spent on luxuries, and that's what really drives the economy.

Looking at vaping specifically, every dollar I save on juice and atomizers is a dollar that is likely going to eventually end up being spent on a battery mod which I can't buy from China at any price. If someone in the US comes up with a better atomizer it'll be the equivalent of building a better mouse trap.

Oh, and btw, being called jingoistic isn't something you want to take as a compliment, it's not patriotism or even nationalism, it's a bad thing.

I understand your point perfectly. Unfortunetly i live in australia and the sale of PV's and juice is illegal here allthough you can order it in. I get the fact that people like to help their own countrymen out but where i get my knickers in a twist is when people insist that china doesnt offer good customer service for no reason other than the fact that they are Chinese. This is the kind of racist bullcrap the world can do without.

I'm 97% sane.. Seem's Wayne is now suggesting returning bad tasting juice. Instead of giving it out to others to try. Some just trade there bad juice to others or sell it, I didn't want to do that, to anyone! I taught Wayne to ask for the juice back, he is quick to return money. They should send me something free for telling him how to do his job. They just buy this juice from Dekang and re sell it.

And think how much more e juice has Dekang had to produce in the last few months compared to six months ago? Double, tripple the juice for new e smokers. Is Dekang still actually making it, or have they outsourced to a cheaper company?

You may be right, I may be crazy, I love to ride my motorcycle in the rain.
I did it all for you, even got an infraction from the forum. lol I'll go sit in the corner now.

My story has ended.

They sent me a messege thanking me to take the time to research the flavor and said that there was no need to send it back if i was convinced it was the flavor and not a product fault. They made a big apology about the fact that i didn't like the flavor (kind but not really necessary) and said that i was welcome to send the money back through their pay pal account (how surprising :p)

Keep in mind I offered to send the money back.

I will definitely continue to shop from ruyan direct and only shop elsewhere for juice flavors they dont supply.

I'm sure Ruyan is wonderful, but I too would rather buy from my regular stateside vendor. Here's the math: I am going to purchase a Joye510 starter kit and pcc. My cost is $76. from my vaporstore and from Ruyan is $73. The cost for shipping brings the cost up to almost the same price. I KNOW I'll receive my product from my vendor in a couple of days.

I'd rather support my vendor here and the price is almost the same. Just my penney's worth.

your us folks seem to be lucky then to have such moderate vendors. in your case your math ex. is clear to me. but here's my math: i purchase the 510 kit+pcc at a vendor in europe (because i live there), so i pay $110 there and from Ruyan (where of course I purchased it) the same thing (incl.shipment) $64.40. Perhaps this does not belong here to be posted but unfortunately in other forums there is not much written about Wayne that is why I was so glad to find it here and i thought perhaps its of anyones interest. thanks for reading
