I started reading the threads and wow looks like I need a lot of education newbie is an understatement.
OK. I think i just jumped in head first into the world of vaping. I just bought an rx200 with a smok tvf4 have the LG and mxjo Batterie 3 each wanted 2 sets of batteries and the the guy only had these. I read somewhere that I should use the q4 coils instead of the three so managed to swap it I filled the tank with Costa milk. So my batteries are charged and I'm ready to start. Any recommendations on the rx200 settings for my first breath of vape.

sorry for the long post.

Thanks . Going to fire this up in an hour or so letting the thing soak with juice first. From Defaukt turning on. what should I change and increase just the watts? Anything I have to do with TC or ohm settings?

its all down to personal preference i would say start low and work up till you hit the sweet spot as it all depends on whether you prefer a hot or cool vape the only thing i would say with that setup is not to use a to high nicotine concentrate in your juice

So

Both the tank and the mod are good devices, however they do not play well together. Joyetech/Wismec have issued an advisory not to use a TFV4 on RX200 or DNA200 of the Realeaux 200watt or void your warranty. The issue is the TFV4 is a bit wider than standard (will strip the threading) and longer than standard (will push the 510 pin down to far and wedge it in at that recess level), just FYI if you start having issues of other tanks/rdas not being able to thread in or make contact with the 510 pin, Joyetech/Wismec will not honor the warranty if you do use that tank on your RX200. Stated above, everything is to the taste of the end user, set power low on a fresh coil, prime it properly, then slowly every few hits bump up the power 2-5watts at a time until you find a happy sweet spot, get a scorched or harsh hit, back it down a couple notches.

Hi foodieeksadh, and welcome.
I'm just sitting here, vaping. I'm planning to buy a tfv4, for reals. Found out it's power output recommendations at least 50w upwards. Maximum maybe at 140w but I'm still learning. So can you please tell me what it's like, c'mon! You must be vaping now

I own the TFV4 Mini. As far as cloud chucking tanks with pre-build coils it is a great tank. Juice hog of a tank, literally it swallows juice down, when I use mine, using the Q4 Quad Coil or T3 Triple Coil head in the 85watt to 120watt range, for all day use it will drink down 30mils of 20PG/80VG easily, basically refilling about every hour to 1 1/2 hour of heavy use. I've taken the Quad coil up to about 150watts, even with the chamber airflow and drip tip airflow opened all the way, vape is super warm. Not a bad tank, just I don't live in the buy or make a 30mil bottle of juice every day camp, normal dripping I generally max out at 20mils a day, but mostly run Kayfuns at the 12watt max range with 12mg juices and cap out all day on one of those in the 8mils of juice range.

What about the regular tfv4? I'm guessing it would be a gas guzzler in comparison! I'm only interested because I want to be able to build my own coils and feel comfortable that, that it'd still be around, to fall back on as I'm experimenting and honing my skill, rda's really appeal to me.

The TFV4 and TFV4 Mini definitely use the same coil heads, including RBA heads so both perform the same, all the work is at the coil head, so the TFV4 full is equal on juice consumption as the TFV4 Mini. The Newer Micro and I think there is a Nano version, due to their squat size might use shorter heads, haven't studied them much. The RBA decks on the larger brothers are as easy to build on as a Kayfun to me. So the only difference between them is just tank capacity, the full version is wider while the Mini is narrower and a bit taller.

@Tivaliman Yep. I'm Vaping now. I got to a rough start with the tfv4 leaking at the bottom air holes despite following instructions and watching all the vids still was leaking. Managed to get a few vape though but it was spitting and juice was getting in my mouth. Not at all a good experience except for the first vape was really sweet. Dismantled it and reassembled it twice but still leaking. Got so frustrated that I went out and got a Uwell crown tank. worked out of the box but that first vape from the tfv4 tasted much better. Well after leaving the tfv4 a few days I woke up this morning 5am and decided to take another stab at it but this time I took every part inspected the o-rings for each piece by just running my fingers around them and then slowly put everything back together again filled 1/4 juice and this time I blew into the drip tip with all Air holes closed no. let it sit until I got into the office and 9am took a vape break. no leaking so far fired it up straight to 60w and sweet no spitting of Juice. 70w 80w 90w 95w 100w too much back to 85w hmm like drinking juice.

AMAZING to me it tasted better than the uwell crown and was cooler to my lips with the top airholes open fully cools the tip.

The one thing with the Tfv4 is it is affectionately called the oil rig. went through 5ml of Juice in just 2 hours. stock up
