Only buy batteries from reputable vendors/dealers to avoid lesser quality, rewrap erroneously labeled / counterfeit cells.

4 bay Nitcore, Efest or Xtar. Whichever has the features you like.

I buy my batteries from RTDvapor.

I was told not to use 20A in mine where I purchased it at. I am currently using IMREN 40A 3000MAH and I have used the Efest 30A 3000 back when I first bought it.

I love my Wismec RX200 and just bought a RX200S. I plan on getting one more as I am one of the paranoid ones who thinks prices will quadruple once legislation gets put in place.

I am at work so I don't have the brand of my charger. Mine is just a two bay but I have a nice six battery rotation going on where one set of three is fully charged while I start charging the other three.

Both the imren & efest are erroneously labeled, re wrapped lower quality cells, neither are actually the amp rating the label shows.

Imren test ---> Imren 40A 3000mAh 18650 Bench Retest Results...only a 17A battery, damaged at 30A
As far as Efest goes there is no telling what cell is under the wrapper at any given time.
Both companies (and many others) are notorious for overstating amp rates (sometimes dangerously)

I must have got lucky with the Imren. I have been using my six battery rotation since I bought the Wismec at least six months ago, probably longer. The efest not so lucky, they crapped out quick.

I did use the Efest in my Sig 75 which was my first Mod. The Wismec has only used the Imrens since I bought it.

hi guys...
I have just bought the rx 200 and was just looking for advice on what batteries and battery charger to get...
thanks

For the base RX200, max 200watts, any of the name brand 20amp CDR batteries will work, yet as Topwater Elvis posted, the LG HG2, Samsun 30Q, and AW IMR 3000mah batteries work spectacularly well with the RX200, giving great run time and the CDR it needs to run, though I highly suggest also looking at the LG HD2 (HD2C) and Sony VTC4 being both these batteries can be pushed to 25amps CDR with little issue, though you sacrifice Mah, HD2 (2000mah) VTC4 (2100mah). If it is an RX200S, or an RX200 with the 250watt upgrade, then you are narrowed down to 4 batteries that are very low mah, LG HB2/HB4/HB6 (1500mah) and Sony VTC3 (1600mah) which are all true 30amp CDR batteries (note- no other battery on the market out performs these 4 model batteries for CDR, any that say an 18650 cell is 35amps or higher are putting the danger pulse discharge rate as its rating), only 4 battery manufacturers to consider as they make all the battery cells currently on the market, those manufacturers are LG, Sony, Samsung (high end), and Panasonic/Sanyo (low end), everyone else buys from these guys.

Battery chargers - Being a 3battery series mod you'll need a 4 bay charger
Nitecore - Models i4 or the newer D4 (digital screen instead of just blinking leds over the i4) same charger just different user interfaces
Efest - Efest offers 2 excellent chargers in the 4 bay category the LUC V4 and the LUC Blu4 (this one has bluetooth over the standard V4)
Xtar - XP4, VP4, VC4 this brand is the the Cadillac of chargers with the best warranties on the market, can't really go wrong with any of their chargers.

US Online Vendors suggested if in the US, authorized resellers/wholesalers
illumn.com - Illumination Supply
Liionwholesale.com - Liion Battery Wholesale
imrbatteries.com - IMR Batteries Wholesale
orbtronic.com - Orbtronics Battery Sales
RTDVapor.com - Authorized Battery Retailer

Be safe out there.

I never go over 150 watts with mine, so I just run LG HG2 batteries in it. Only other batteries it sees are my samsung 25Rs when I am going camping. The 20A discharge will let me take them all the way up to about 190 watts before they are at their limit.

and to JDC, I would tell you to steer clear of that vape shop if at all possible. It is clear they are giving poor information(potentially dangerous, too). Just my :2cents on that

I'm usually only at 30 watts in my RX200, rarely up to 40 watts. I usually have a Crown clearo tank (either the 0.5 ohm or 0.25 coils) or my own 0.6 ohm build in a Velocity rebuildable drip atomizer.

I use a married threesome of the LG HG2 3000mAh 20amp batteries, or use the AW 2200mAh 20A batteries when the LG's are on the charger.
